With such a big screen, you can divide your monitor between different windows. You’re able to choose between several preset split screen options which allow you to view multiple applications at once.

What’s more, is that if you connect additional monitors, you can control the monitor separately or together, letting you get the best viewing experience for every screen. So no matter whether you’re watching the newest Netflix series, playing Red Dead Redemption 2, or working on a graphic design project, this monitor has the real estate and the features to make the experience of multitasking seamless.

  1. As a software educational course developer, I would find this monitor very useful for multiple page layouts and graphical displays.

  2. Most often I’d have a browser open on the left side and my word processing program on the right. (Actually, I already do this, but each program is half-sized, so there’s a lot of scrolling going on.) Also, it would be a huge improvement for editing and organizing photos.

  3. This computer would be great to see a monitor that curves and magnifies to help me see things online – I am partially visually impaired and this would help immensely.

  4. I would just like to open all 8 of my different social media accounts and email accounts on one big screen. Tired of squinting.

  5. I develop websites for a living, and it would be awesome to have the website up on one side of the monitor with my code on the other side, so I can see my changes in real-time.

  6. This would be extremely useful for me in my job. I am a work at home developer and this would allow me to easily put my code up on the left side & my research, documentation and testing work on the right side.

  7. As a designer, this is the perfect monitor for me to be able to flip between client emails/internet browser tabs and design applications!

  8. I like to do 3D modelling. The extra real estate would allow me to look at the model as well as several reference images at the same time.

  9. As a photographer, the large screen and WQHD resolution would make things so much easier on my “well used” eyes. This would be a wonderful addition to my photography room.

  10. What a phenomenal workhorse of a monitor! It would be perfect for multitasking as a freelance illustrator, I could use multiple image editing programs at once and have reference images and a chat program at the ready without ever having to minimize or switch windows again! A monitor like this would be an absolute miracle worker in the field I work in.

  11. Wow – I really like the LG WK95C Curved 38″ UltraWide Monitor. I just read Steven’s review and think this monitor would be perfect for me. I work at home and sometimes have trouble seeing the screen, so this huge screen would be a game-changer for me. I also watch movies on my laptop, and this baby is so huge, it would almost feel like watching on a big screen tv! I like that you can divide the monitor between different windows, using preset split screen options, so you can view many applications at once. And I like that you can preview the windows, and then drag and drop them into the main screen area. I am always attracted to great design, and really love the ultra-thin bezel and the sleek stand. Santa, I want one!!!!!!

  12. I’d be able to make images on the screen large enough so that my visually impaired mother could see them looking over my shoulder while shopping online.

  13. The kids like to sit on my knee and watch videos – but I’m always busy doing something, so I always like to have things up in the other half of the screen. Web sites get annoying at 960 x 1200, though.

  14. This would be great for our small business! Multi tasking at its finest! Emails, invoicing and project management tasks!
