Microsoft 365 is everyone’s productivity tool. I don’t know anyone who can get work done without it. Of course you are familiar with Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneDrive, and Outlook. These have become basic necessities of using a computer for working, going to school, owning a business, and more. For decades they have evolved with our computer skills and technology to do more for us. Microsoft keeps getting better: now with the inclusion of Microsoft Defender! Learn more about the new Microsoft 365 then enter for a chance to win a one year digital download for your devices.

How do you keep your online activities safe

There are many advantages of getting Microsoft Defender included with Microsoft 365. Firstly, you get a single centralized dashboard to view your security protections across devices, and for family members. You also get device protection across all platforms. In my household, some people use a PC, others use Android, and others use Apple products. It’s great to know that just like we all use Word and the other applications for productivity, we’ll all have similarly dependable security with Defender.

In addition, Microsoft 365 includes 1TB of OneDrive storage so you can access all of your files on any device from anywhere. Not only is this incredibly convenient, pairing it with Microsoft Defender in the same software bundle ensures your files are accessible to you—and only to you! For people like me who purchase the Family version, each person you include gets their own 1 TB of storage. Think about that: Microsoft 365 Family costs just a little bit more than Microsoft 365 Personal, and you get 1TB of storage for each person included on the subscription. Each person in my family has their own personal and secure storage!

Over the past few years we’ve all seen our family’s online activity increase. That also means that online risk has gone up. Now more than ever, we need better online security. Microsoft 365 is doing this for us by including Defender for no additional charge. Suddenly your security is the same for all family members, for all devices. And when you add a new device to your home, it instantly has the same security too.

Microsoft Defender is the security you need where you need it

I love that with Microsoft 365 I don’t have to worry. I know the version I’m using is the newest, and is the same on my computer as on my tablet and my phone. I don’t have to worry about dependability: years of use has shown me I can depend on Word documents, Excel spreadsheet, and Powerpoint presentations. I don’t have to worry about my family’s ability to get school or work done either, since my wife and kids get the same applications I get with the family subscription. Now with Defender built into the same software package, I don’t have to worry about my security, or my family’s security. Our online protections will stay up to date automatically.

Few of us are security experts. We can try to do all of the things we are supposed to do, like create strong passwords, not click on suspicious links, etc, but we know that there are risks in the computer world that we are just not equipped to deal with. However, from now on, anyone with a Microsoft 365 subscription is equipped—and at no extra cost! Defender is just included along with Word, Excel, OneDrive, and the other applications you love. Security on all devices you regularly use. Protection when and where you and your loved ones do any computer activities.

  1. It’s been a long while back when I had an old computer and I think I had Office 2013 on it. Since bought new computers several years later, I am missing all the proper creating and saving of spreadsheets, documents and presentations. The new Microscoft 365 software bundle would be a great win for myself and my University student grandson.

  2. MD office, in particular Excel and Power point, would be a huge benefit to master. Seems like they’re both heavily used these days.

  3. Definitely Excel – I need to learn the shortcuts & formulas to improve my spreadsheet organization.

  4. Microsoft 365 Family sounds interesting. I would like to use it for a Non Profit Organisation and would like to know if I were eligible since a few people do not live with me.

  5. Excel – I want to learn the little tricks I see on Instagram – how to auto populate…and for predictive power and to help my children with their work.. And maybe even to help us budget for a fancy dance holiday!

  6. I’d like to learn more about Excel. I think I know it well but there are so many features and functions that I’m sure I could increase my productivity by learning more.

  7. I wish I could learn more about Excel. Even after using it occasionally over the years, I still don’t get it. I would like to understand at least a little, what my grandchildren are talking about. As many that are ib the house can use this.

  8. I wish I could learn more about PowerPoint, so that I could use it more effectively for presentations.

  9. I wish I could learn more about Microsoft Defender and how it better protects the 365 apps I use regularly.

  10. Of all the word and data processing tools that are available to me, Microsoft 365 provides the best configured, supported, functionality, and user-friendliness of any word and data processing program I have ever used. It was invaluable when I returned to College and with the number of add-ons and apps, and the list of supportive apps growing exponentially, I dare say that there is little need for any other word and data processor other than word 365. Thanks, I need this.

  11. I wish I could learn more about Excel. Even after using it occasionally over the years, I still don’t get it.

  12. Excel is definitely a powerful application. I’ve watched a few videos on things you can do and its incredible

  13. I wish that I could learn more about the MicroSoft Excel… I have never learned about spread sheets, doing budgeting etc. That said, it is never too late.

  14. I would want to learn how to fully use all the functions of Publisher to learn how to make greeting cards or newsletters or posters.

  15. I would like to become better at Powerpoint. It’s something my teenagers are great at but I never really learned and it would be useful for doing meetings at work.
