Thinkware dash cams make driving safer for everyone. For most of us, driving is the riskiest thing we do every day. There are few things we can do to protect our loved ones who must take to the roads, for short or long drives, commuting, or even just shopping. Properly maintained vehicles is a basic necessity. Thinkware dash cams provide “next level” protection. Enter this contest and you might win either a Thinkware Q1000 or Thinkware X800 dash cam.
Should all cars come standard with a Thinkware dash cam
Seatbelts were legislated in Canada all the way back in the 1970s. Wearing a seatbelt is so commonplace, many of us can’t imagine driving without using one. Similarly, back up cameras are found in most vehicles now and not having one seems, well, just wrong. Both seatbelts and backup cameras met with resistance upon their introduction. Many people just didn’t want to put on a seatbelt. Similarly, some people felt that a back up camera was simply a crutch, ensuring that drivers didn’t learn proper technique when backing up. Yet here we are, in a better place with both technologies in use for the betterment of drivers everywhere. Driving is safer with seatbelt and backup camera tech.
I contend that dash cams are another tech that drivers and cars are safer with rather than without. And Thinkware dash cams come with a host of features to protect drivers and car owners. Once you have one, you don’t want to be without one again.
Thinkware dash cams do much more than just record the road ahead
In the movie “Next,” Nic Cage is able to protect people in danger with his gift to see a couple minutes into the future. A Thinkware dash cam is kind of doing that by capturing where your car will be in the near future. When things go wrong on the road, having that footage can make a huge difference in your life. It shows how other people reacted to a novel situation. Our memories are fallible; in moments of excitement our brains can mix up timelines, and even “remember” incorrectly. Dash cam evidence presented to the police or even to a judge (if a dispute gets that far) is indisputable.
There is a lot of information coming from a Thinkware dash cam and you can track it all in the app. This includes remote viewing of the cameras, GPS/speed detection, crash detection, impact detection while parked, and more. Imagine if your spouse is commuting to work … you can follow their progress and know if they get stopped for some reason. I was recently at a concert and my truck was broken into … I wish I had a dash cam to alert me!
Are you ready to install a Thinkware dash cam in your vehicle? Enter now and you might win one of these two premium models. Both of these models of dash cam were reviewed on the blog so check out the Q1000 review and the X800 review then return here and enter.

Win a Thinkware dash cam Rules and Regulations
Good Luck.
I don’t have one but I would think a feature that would allow you to view and save it to your cell phone would be important for drivers.
It is important to have accurate information in case of an accident.
I have a Thinkware setup and really like it. Two features I haven’t seen mentioned yet are self-critique / review of my own driving (I’m quite a nervous driver, so if I felt like something was close, I try to manually record and see what I could have done better); also, the motion detection recording is very useful, I have used it to help a coworker show that she didn’t bump into a neighbouring vehicle. I would love to win one for my mum, who parks on the street.
Don’t have one but often wish I did when I see drivers make poor and dangerous decisions in front of me.
Currently, I do not have a dash cam. It would be a very beneficial addition to my vehicle to keep me and others on the road safe.
Don’t have one but would be good to have in the event of an accident

Would like a dash cam as I currently do not have one – Would be great to not only capture scenic drives but also could be useful in accidents as well to verify who is at fault
Currently, I do not have a dashcam in my vehicle. This would be very beneficial in the event of an accident.
I have a cheaper dash cam in my car but I think the fact that I am able to always have it recording while I am driving is a very good “cover my behind” tool in case something happens and I need proof.
I don’t have a dashcam. The dashcam would be good for recording any incidents while driving. The impact detection and remote viewing would be good to keep an eye on your car when you are not driving. If I installed a dashcam, the recordings would be good for keeping a record of anything bad happening. The sensors would be good for security when the car is parked.
It would help me record so at least I have evidence in case of accidents.

We do not have a dash cam, but with 2 new teenage drivers on the road, I feel this would be a necessary safety feature in our car, especially when they are travelling alone.
We don’t have one just yet, but it’s on a list. Hubby really wants on. Its been hard to make a decision as there are so many out there.
When it comes to features, loop recording is a great one, ensuring recording doesn’t get inurupted due to full memory card.
No dashcam for me, but I would love to have one to be able to provide myself a bit of insurance for the future!
I don’t have one but for piece of mind, I believe they are important for all.

I don’t have one but I think it would be a great investment if I was ever in an accident
I have a dash cam and I believe it is wonderful to have a memory of my daily journey’s. In this day and age it is necessary that you have video capturing my movements and the movement of others as we drive. Good for insurance purposes if heaven forbid, an accident should happen to me.
yes, I have a dash cam. One feature that I find very important is that it continuously records. If the SD card is full, it will overwrite the only recordings first, that way you never have to worry about it not recording while you are driving.
I don’t have one, would like to; they are a great way to collect evidence.
I do not have one but would be helpful for protecting drivers (self and others).

Useful for recording evidence in case I witness an accident .
Don’t have one, but features like identifying dashed vs solid lines, speedometer, and parking assist will definitely make driving vehicles safer and save moola down the line.
My old dashcam just broke so I don’t have one currently. I find dashcam super useful for giving myself the peace of mind.
