Shopping can be fun, especially when you find what you are looking for. We are all on the lookout for the best deals, especially at this time of year and you know that Best Buy Boxing Day sales will have plenty of deals. In the spirit of keeping vigilant for great deals, we’ve prepared this fun contest. Our head office building staff put together an amazing Christmas village display: along the train track are some Best Buy gift cards. Watch the video as the Best Buy train travels through the village and look very carefully—there are four Best Buy gift cards placed strategically. Get inspired to give the tech they’ll love

Gifting inspiration comes in many ways. Sometimes a casual conversation with your mom sparks an idea that turns into a perfect gift for her. Perhaps you saw an advertisement, or a TikTok video, and knew immediately that your sister would love that item. On the blog we prepared a 12 days of Christmas series of articles to inspire you with some of the best tech we tested on the blog this past year. Check it out and you might find something new and exciting for someone on your list (or for yourself!).

A Best Buy gift card is a gift of choice

Okay so you’ve searched and searched but just can’t decide what to give someone on your list. That’s one of the best reasons to get a gift card. It’s like gifting an experience: they’ll peruse the Best Buy aisle in store, or the endless aisle at Best Buy online, to find the tech they need. Perhaps it’s a mouse for better productivity in 2024, or they’ll put the card towards a new mobile phone or laptop! The possibilities are endless when you give the gift of choice. And if you enter this contest, you might win one of four $100 Best Buy gift cards.

How to enter

Entering this contest is easy and you can enter in two different ways:

  1. Watch the video, then in an email to bestbuyblog@bestbuycanada.ca with the subject line “Best Buy Christmas Train Contest” tell us at least one place within the Christmas Village where you saw a gift card. Do not put that information in a comment on the blog: you must send it in an email.
  2. Look at the selection of 12 days of Christmas articles, and in a comment below this contest tell us which of those articles has the tech you would love to receive this Christmas (you can mention more than one in your comment). Also tell us why you like that tech.

What you can win

At the end of this contest, we will randomly select four winners from all eligible entries. Each of the winners will receive a $100 Best Buy eGift Certificate that can be used online or in a store.

This contest runs from Dec 15th to Dec 28th.

Remember you can enter in two different ways as discussed above. We all love the gift of choice, so take this opportunity to reach out to your loved ones and tell them to enter this contest too.

  19. I would have to say the “12 Days of Christmas Day 7 is ASUS for work or fun” is the article that has the tech I would love to get this Christmas because the ASUS Zenbook is a laptop but also a tablet and that can come in handy as I am always moving around! 🙂

  22. I hope to get the (Day 3) Google Pixel 8 Pro because it’s an amazing tech gadget and phone in one and it can also take cool photos and videos!

  23. So many great products It’s hard to only pick one.
    I love the ASUS Zenbook and the Microsoft Surface laptops, just not sure which one. I would have to discuss my needs with a Best Buy expert to figure out which is best suited for my needs. I love that they can be used as a laptop or as a tablet. Two in one would make my life so much easier, especially when traveling for work.
    Then there is the Nintendo Switch. Fun for the whole family and I love that it can be played on the big screen tv, or as a portable. The portable would be perfect to keep the kids quiet on those long road trips.

  25. 12 Days of Christmas – Day 11 is Microsoft Surface has the tech I would love to receive. I could use a replacement for my tablet and laptop; the Microsoft Surface seems like a good option.

  26. I would love a Benq projector (day 6) for Christmas so we could better enjoy our movie nights at home. A smart watch from Health and Fitness day 10 would also be a great Christmas gift as I was using my Fitbit Charge 5 quite a bit until it was bricked by one of their updates.

  27. I’d love Day 2’s NeoQLED TV. The brightness, high contrast and solar powered remote would fit perfectly in a bright livingroom.

  49. I liked Day 5 All things Mario! It’s just about time for my kids to be introduced to Mario and a Nintendo switch would be a great way to play together as a family!

  50. Our family would absolutely love a BenQ’s Portable GV30 Projector to take on the go. We spend holidays at grandparents and go to the lake or camping and this would be such a fun addition to take with us for movie nights on the go!
