Every room for sure, but one place I see these in particular being handy is the bedroom. Vacuuming under the bed is such a difficult task with canister vacuum this would make that chore a breeze.

Simple answer is all the rooms.
We have two cats, carpet and tile, but only a Shop Vac for a vacuum.
