Every year my kids and I bake up a lot of different goodies to share with friends and family. I started this tradition with my daughter when she was 3. 8 years later, my son helps too!

A couple years ago I decided to try my hand at some Christmas baking and made Oreo Cookie Balls. They turned out great, and have become a family favourite and an annual tradition. This KitchenAid Professional stand mixer would work great to make these and other Christmas goodies.
I make a fritter recipe from my mother-in-law. I can’t roll it out – it has to be really thin-, so my husband does it. He complained that I didn’t make them often enough, so I multiplied the recipe by 4. He doesn’t complain about it anymore. The pasta attachment would make this so much easier.
A cherished family tradition that I have is baking Christmas cookies with my mom every December. It’s good bonding time and a much easier job to tackle with two people 🙂
My sister and I making gingerbread houses as children. Special times, special memories
I love the pasta attachment, and I remember making noodles with my grandmother.
Hello… I absolutely love love love my kitchen aid mixer… I had asked for one for many years. Finally on my 40th birthday my whole family chipped in and purchased a black one for me because I love to bake. Due to my love of family cooking and baking my oldest daughter decided to go to college to further her education in baking. We have created a special bond through making fun & tasty treats for everyone… especially at Christmas we do 2 different cookie exchanges with our friends. We donate many of what we make to the churches to feed the homeless ..hopefully it makes someone s day a bit more special. The memories we have made I hope will be carried on for generations in my family. Wishing you all a happy holidays!!
Thank you!!
Watching my wife & two daughters bake Christmas cookies. Nothing beats seeing the smiles on their faces & hearing their laughter.
One of my favorite holiday memories was making sugar cookies with my mom and then decorating them with icing and of course eating lot’s of icing! I would probably use the basic mixing piece the most for things like cookies and cakes but the pasta attachments also look fun. reminds me of playing with Play doh as a child!
It’s that time of year. Gingerbread time. Would be nice to have stand up mixer. Our tradition, 6 family member make a gingerbread house. This will be our third year. Nice to make tradition.
Baking sugar cookies and making peanut butter bees with my mom is a cherished tradition and a favourite memory. Delicious too.
i need a stand mixer anyway becuase every thing i make doesnt tuen out right. i cant afford luxury kitchen tools so im always working with the bare basics tools & substitutes for ingredents i didnt have. so i havent even got a stand mixer at all. i have a hand held electric one and it has 3 sppeds but a lot of times i need to stop mixing and put it down somewhere so i try to balance it on the side of the bowl and eventually most times it tips over and spills some or all of my baking project. its a real hasle too for things that need constant mixing while adding ingredence to the batch. it stresses me out so much that i often choose not to cook or bake period becuase i know its gonna be stressful, messy, painful on my fibromyaliga and arthritus and it will make a huge mess i have to clean up from the mixer throwing bater all over the kitchen and on me as well as the mixer and bowl tippping over and crashing to the floor. its hard cleanng up cake batter off a kitchen rug. yuck ! limited resources, poverty substitutes, and cheap or no kitchen tools make a huge differenece in the cooking/eating experience. they help creates better tasting food in the long run becuase you can trust your kitchen tools & ingredents to perfrom for you to make your life easier and helps to make interesting delicious meals that everyone in the family benefits from. i defenitly need a stand mixer these days becuase im a grandma to a child who wants to cook & bake with me. its becoming our fun thing to do . so having a stand mixer would give us more opportunites to share those experiences & make these family memories together. making it less likley i will spill it, being a grandma means i need to have some of the best kitchn tools and resources to teach her how to make delicious healthy foods and we will have hours of fun decorating cakes and cookies togetherby making some frosting using the same stand mixer again. its so handy to have for making long lasting memories in your family life.
Every year when we were little we would help our Mom make all kinds of Christmas treats, including “pig’s ears” which were fried dough pastries dredged in icing sugar. That were so yummy and crunchy and so addictive to eat!
We would bake pies and cookies!
We love the various attachments to make quick work and prep everything to make delicious meals and snacks. Pasta attachment looks like it would be a breeze to use!
Thank you
The meat grinder looks awesome !!
My grandmother would make butter tarts and shortbread. These recipes were passed down from her mother.
I remember when times were tight, I managed to buy a small tabletop tree, but since there were no funds in the budget for decorations, I decided to make my own… from popcorn balls and rolled cookies! The best part of this idea was being able to eat the decorations.
Every Christmas we would spend an evening decorating Gingerbread Houses while listening to Christmas music, and drinking hot chocolate with marshmellows and whipcream. Such wonderful memories.
The ice shaver attachment would be the most useful for my family. On hot days in the summer it woudl be a brillant way to cool off and enjoy homemade slush.
Up until a few years ago when my grandmothers health started to decline (and is now battling dementia) we spent every holiday season baking up until Christmas. One of my most favourite memories is watching her make sweet bread from scratch, kneading and rising the doe by hand and then sometimes she baked the bread in the early morning hours filling the house with such an amazing smell. A memory I’ll never forget.

I just love cooking with my kids in the kitchen. Teaching them how to stretch dollars by doing from scratch cooking and baking is rewarding, fun and creating those special memories. We recently made Chinese dumplings from scratch and they were scrumptious! From the pastry, to the filling to the dipping sauce it was an experience we all enjoyed and reminisce about. We are looking forward to trying the next favourite thing.
In the heart of my kitchen, sunlight streamed through the window, casting a warm glow on the countertops. Today, I was on a mission – to unveil the wonders of baking with my newfound companion, the stand-up mixer.
As I measured out the flour, the mixer stood tall and proud, a gleaming beacon of culinary potential. With a satisfying click, I attached the whisk, ready to dive into the alchemy of baking. The hum of the machine filled the room, a soothing melody that hinted at the delights to come.
Eggs cracked and joined the flour, and with a turn of the dial, the mixer whirred to life. It embraced the ingredients, twirling them into a harmonious blend. I marveled at the effortless fusion, the mixer’s beaters dancing in perfect rhythm.
The scent of vanilla soon enveloped the air as I poured it into the mix. The stand-up mixer, a silent partner in this symphony, continued its melodic hum, unfazed by the increasing complexity of the batter. It was a dance of precision and patience, a collaboration between human intuition and mechanical prowess.
Butter melted and merged seamlessly into the mixture, creating a luscious concoction that promised indulgence. I watched with a mix of excitement and gratitude as the stand-up mixer performed its culinary ballet, turning basic ingredients into a work of edible art.
As the batter reached its zenith, I couldn’t resist a taste. The smooth texture and balanced flavors hinted at the baking masterpiece that awaited. With a flick of the switch, the mixer’s ballet reached its crescendo, signaling the completion of its task.
I scraped the sides of the bowl, savoring every bit of the delectable batter. Chocolate chips tumbled in, and the mixer resumed its dance, gracefully folding in the final elements. The kitchen was now a sanctuary of anticipation, the aroma promising a reward for both patience and precision.
Scoops of batter landed on the baking sheet, and into the oven they went. As the stand-up mixer rested, I leaned against the counter, eagerly awaiting the transformation that would take place behind the oven door.
When the timer chimed, I pulled out trays of perfectly baked cookies. The stand-up mixer had been more than a kitchen tool; it had been a culinary companion, turning a simple recipe into a journey of flavors and textures. As I savored the fruits of our collaboration, I couldn’t help but appreciate the magic that unfolded within the embrace of the stand-up mixer’s whirring arms.
When we were small children, we would always sit at the kitchen table and decorate xmas cookies.
My mother would make butter tarts and shortbread, her own special recipes. Nothing like them before or since.
One of my favourite memories was baking with my Mom at the Kitchen table. She only use a big spoon to mix the batter (and it wasn’t until I was older that she had a hand held electric mixer) so we make everything by hand. My favourite part was getting to lick a spoon as she made cookies.
Decorating gingerbread houses every year with my daughter is always special

My family tradition is from my very young years when it would be my job to stand at the stove and stir the brown sugar/condensed milk fudge in the heavy pot.
I make this special fudge only at Christmas as do my daughters and so will my granddaughter since it is a family tradition we all love. The fudge is so good.
I would like the meat grinder attachment because I could. them have very good hamburger for my recipies.

Love baking and cooking with my mom and sister, now watching my boys joining with me.
Every year my best friend from the USA comes to visit my hubby and I, we spend weeks planning the most amazing meal and save a bunch of money for it. Christmas music, a fire, joy, happy pets and a full spread on the table. I look forward to it all year long.
As far as the attachment goes, PASTA! I’ve been making small noodles by hand for years, having a pasta attachment would change the pasta game in this house forever!
Baking with my mom…now I do with my kids. Hope to continue the tradition forward.
Loved making cookies at Chrismas with my Grandma. Now I do with my own kids!
Helping my Grandma make her famous Bismarcks. Always delicious
Definitely the KitchenAid meat grinder attachment! My daughter and son-in-law make sausages and jerky every year and having the mixer do the grinding instead of hand turning our grinder would make the process so much less labor intensive.
Crush ice attachment for summer drinks
Every Christmas I’m the daughter that bakes all the treats for the holidays. It changes each year but I always make a batch of whipped shortbread. The attachment I would prefer for me and my family is the pasta maker. We never have home made pasta but with this attachment I’d love to try. Thank you for the chance to win a KitchenAid stand mixer.

My mother would gather family members one weekend and all of us will be in the kitchen making dumplings and spring rolls in preparation for Holiday gatherings and maybe some leftovers to take home. The kitchen will be so noisy and tight but the stories and laughs we share are priceless.
