oculus quest 2 untethered gamingAn Oculus Quest 2 is real entertainment like you’ve never experienced before. Whether it’s watching a movie, playing a game, or exploring a new travel destination, you will not believe how close you get to being part of the action. This is definitely one of the hottest entertainment/gaming devices of the year, and we are very happy to be able to offer two as prizes in this contest.

Oculus Quest 2 is virtual reality with no strings attached

Finally VR has become what we all thought it was to begin with. You see, VR promised to allow us to feel like we are in a different place or time. Some do this better than others, and some, like the original Oculus, have been quite amazing. However, it’s hard to totally immerse yourself in a game or movie when an attached cable keeps tugging you back to the real world. That’s one of the immediate advantages of the Oculus Quest 2: with no tether, no attached cable, you quickly lose yourself—the virtual environment essentially becomes the real world for you!

  1. I’d love to have this for games and films and stuff. I’ve been struggling a lot with interaction and sometimes chat games don’t help. Feel like using something like this would help me out greatly! 🙂

  2. It’s gaming and entertainment on a while new dimension! Literally! It’s so cool looking around a virtual world. No wires to worry about, just pick it up and start playing. So many possibilities! Definitely would try Beat Saber and maybe some National Geographic travel experiences.

  3. The new Oculus Quest 2 makes me wanna finally jump into VR. It has great graphics, no need for sensors around the room, and an optional PC connected cable. I love how this device does not require the sensors around the room allowing users to play anywhere and take it with them on the go. The optional PC cable to run more intense games as needed is amazing in allowing you both the freedom to be untethered, and hook up to run anything needing more power.

I will be using this to play games with my friends and hopefully convince them to invest in one as well so we can all play together in VR. Currently we are playing Phasmaphobia and I think a VR headset would take the game to the next level. I also can’t wait to play Beat Saber and see what other games Oculus offers.

  4. I have played VR games on htc vive headsets. and i absolutely loved playing games in VR. But that was with lots of wires attached to it.
I have never tried oculus headsets but heard a lot of good things about Wireless Oculus Quest.
would love to play VR games on quest daily.
And as a movie lover would also love to watch movies in quest.

  5. I would LOVE this VR headset for gaming. The fact that it’s now lightweight and cordless without setting up sensors in the room means I can entertain while I visit friends and family. 🙂

  6. I’d use mine for flightsimming – the sheer processing power and resolution of the quest make it a great partner for steam Vr and flight sims like Microsoft and X-Plane.

  7. I would love to have a quest to for playing VR in a big open space outside. imagine having the free roaming ability to actually walk around within the game and not just having to use the controllers to move around.

  8. I would love to get this to play with my long distance boyfriend who I don’t get to see a whole lot… he has one and I want one to play some game called population one and vr chat with him. I also like Netflix and think it would be cool on it:)

  9. My family has been so much, we would love to experience VR games and the incredibly real simulations provided by the untethered Oculus!

  13. Obviously wireless… God yes… My psvr just keeps getting entangled when I move.

And gaming… I’m just 1 gpu from having my pc completed a wireless VR would just be icing on a fresh cake.

  14. I love that there is no wires and that it’s more affordable.

I want to learn how to develop video games and make a VR game

  15. I love my oculus quest and would love the quest 2 so my wife and I can game together. I love the PC compatibility feature and think this would make her over the moon happy.

  16. I like that it’s not tethered to a PC for the freedom of movement. But Oculus Link will get me PC Vr to play Beat Saber with mods and Medal of Honor above and beyond when it comes out.

  17. See I want this vr for all of its uses!
I am getting a gaming PC and this would be an awesome thing to come with it. I would totally use link and hang out with friends during this lockdown! I don’t know what else to say but I would literally flip out if I got it and I would also tell all me friends to hope at best buy. Lol I would be so thankful.

  18. I would use for it mainly for gaming experience and watch VR contents. The fact that it’s totally wireless is incredible and you can play PC VR on it too. I would love to get it.

  19. I’ve only ever tried the Samsung vr which doesn’t even compare to the oculus I would use it for therapy when I’m going through a manic depression episode. Would be a God send!

  21. I have a oculus quest 2 and love it! I play games and watch movies all the time. Winning a second one to share with friends would be awesome!

  22. Would love it for gaming and more importantly for learning/ teaching abilities for my grandchildren. Not to mention the work at home applications that can be applied. Have been wanting one since my quest original got stolen last year

  23. Stand alone is different level.
And also Oculus link is awesome as well. No VR head set can work alone or with PC so far. This is evolution.

  24. We would love the blazing fast processor with highest-resolution display, it would be like a virtual reality when my husband/son are gaming

  25. I love VR and the quest 2 seems like a fantastic starter headset. My brother also wants a vr headset and it would be great to give him one for Christmas.

  26. I love the massive increase in power from the original quest! If I win I’ll be playing a lot of beat saber, and a lot of VRchat. I only wish the first quest had been this good!

  27. Hello! I would use it for gaming and for watching all my favorite Netflix shows and movies like I was in a theater!! It would be so fun!!

  28. Like all here can agree. The quest would be a brilliant addition to my household! As a kid I’ve always looked to the next level of immersion in gaming and vr has always been a standout for me! I’ve never tried vr but follow it’s development closely watching all of the advancements being made, and frankly the quest is one of them!

  29. So alot of my friends have one and I would love to be able to play with them.also the grahics are amazing and is relly fun to play. I would also love to be able to show my cousin vr and maybe even get some peaple interested in vr.

  30. The fact that the Quest 2 is a standalone heastset opens up so many possibilities. However, if you want with an oculus link cable you can even play PC VR games. The fact that it’s so easily portable makes it much better. If I got the Quest 2 I’d probably play alot of Beat Saber as I’m a huge rhythm game fan
