After jam-packed gaming release calendars the last couple of months, December is looking a tad quieter. Still, some huge titles are coming to Best Buy this month, including Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six: Siege, Square Enix’s Just Cause 3, and Nintendo’s Xenoblade Chronicles X. But that’s not all though, so here’s a look at all the games coming out this month you won’t want to miss!

[Note: The below release dates are subject to change at the sole discretion of the game publisher at any time]

Rainbow Six: Siege

Release Date: December 1, 2015

Platform(s): PlayStation 4 / Xbox One / PC

ESRB Rating: M (Mature, 17+)

The game I’ve been looking forward to the most this month is definitely Rainbow Six: Siege, the latest entry in Ubisoft’s acclaimed Tom Clancy tactical shooter series. I first tried the game at this year’s E3 in June and walked away very impressed with the amount of strategy involved in this squad-based shooter. Not only can you choose from multiple different operators, each with distinct equipment and special abilities, but environments are also highly destructible, opening up possibilities like blasting holes in the floor to ambush enemies, or creating bullet holes in walls by shooting them. Expect a full review of Rainbow Six: Siege later in the month!

Just Cause 3

Release Date: December 1, 2015

Platform(s): PlayStation 4 / Xbox One

Taking place a few years after the event of the last game, Just Cause 3 places you back in the role of Rico Rodriguez as he attempts to save his homeland from the hands of the ruthless General DiRavello. Fans of open world games and huge explosions will have a field day in Just Cause 3’s massive island, measuring nearly 1,000 km².

Xenoblade Chronicles X

The next epic role-playing game from Monolith Soft, Xenoblade Chronicles X, has official arrived on Wii U. This massive, open-world RPG is set in the year 2054, and follows the story of Earth’s last survivors on the mysterious planet Mira. Xenoblade Chronicles X features a fast-paced, deep battle system that plays out in real-time, and you can also join squad online with your friends and embark on multiplayer-specific missions.
