Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. Super Mario 2 from Nintendo because it is nostalgic
CD Projekt Red’s announcement of Cyberpunk 2077 at the Microsoft conference. A lot of things have me excited for this game: The setting. The fact that it will be an open world RPG. The gameplay we’ve seen so far. And of course, CD Projekt Red’s excellent track record with The Witcher series.
It all has me really looking forward to what they’ll bring in 2020. Also, Keanu Reeves!
Excited for SuperMario 2
The announcement that I was most existed about at this years E3 was the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Sequel from Nintendo on the Nintendo Switch. I was very excited for this announcement because I am a long time Zelda fan and my favorite game of all time is The Legend of Zelda:Ocarina of Time. Im also a huge Nintendo fan so I always look out for first party Nintendo games and new Zelda games in particular. This announcement was also a very unexpected one for me, I didnt think a new Zelda would be coming out so soon and this announcement made me very happy.
While I will always be a fan of most Mario games, i am excited for the release of Links awakening. I still fondly remember playing The legend of Zelda and Link to the past on Nintendo as a child. I remember racing home from school to try and beat my older brothers home so I could be the first to play them that day. I may just need to get a Nintendo Switch by September in time for the release of this new game.
Super excited to play Cyberpunk 2077
I’m so excited for Animal Crossing: New Horizons from Nintendo. I’ve become a major AC fan recently and this is what’s going to get me to buy a Switch!

The E3 gaming announcement that has me the most excited in 2019 is The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening remaster.
The reason why i am most excited about it is because it brings back so many good memories and feelings from when i first played the game.
Thanks to Nintendo for remastering this classic, bringing it to the Switch and giving yet another Zelda title a redo because it’s important for me, new fans and old ones
to get the chance to experience this game once more and it has new features!! It’s just amazing!

The game that I look forward to for 2019 is Borderlands 3. I’ve been following the series ever since and have even waited in line for 1.5 hours to play the preview of Tales from the Borderland at PAX Prime. Needless to say, I enjoy the game for its entertaining character development, action filled story line and the fun free like design the game has to offer with all the different weapons and quests that you can do. My all time favourite quest was from Borderlands 2 is called ‘SHOOT ME IN THE FACE”, which is given by “Face McShooty” . With the name of the quest pretty much summing what you have to do, it has always made me laugh out loud, be very confused on what I just did or experience both at the same time. Overall, I really enjoy the random moments and creative events that the developers have provided this game and I can’t wait to see what they will bring next. The manufacturer who published this game was 2K Games and I’ve watched the trailer several times from E3. Why this announcement was so important to me was because it made me super excited to know that I would get to enjoy my previous experiences I have had with the other games and will get to continue the crazy wacky kooky silly insane deranged demented idiotic mental maniacal gameplay Borderlands 3 will have to offer.

SuperMario 2 from Nintendo because of past game playing with its predecessor.
The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening is the game I’m most excited for, announced during Nintendo’s conference. I loved playing the older Zelda games on Gameboy, and I have fond memories of this one! The remake looks beautiful. Between this and Breath of the Wild 2 – plus the positive reaction garnered by the first BotW – the Switch has gone from a ‘maybe’ to a ‘must own’ for me. I love my Playstation and PC, but I’ve really missed playing Zelda titles.
My grandchildren are waiting for Nintendo’s “SuperMario 2”. They love all the Mario games and this will also become one of their favourites.
I’m most excited about Nintendo’s announcement for a sequel to Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild . My son guided me through the previous version, now I need no assistance and ready to experience it and see what they have new to offer
Cyberpunk 2077
I’m excited about Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint. The platform is manufactured by Google Stadia Microsoft Windows PlayStation 4 Xbox One. The Standard Edition is released on Oct 4, 2019. I can’t wait for this game to be released because I can choose from a huge variety of classes, weapons, and equipment when I’m building my character, Ghost. This game will have the same excitement and action as Tom Clancy’s books.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a cool game that I really want play because Keanu Reeves!!!!! the graphics look awesome. CD Projekt developed and published this awesome game! The announcement was made by Microsoft at E3! aaaaand the game is coming in 2020!
While there were many wonderful new things shown at this year’s E3, I was most excited to see Nintendo Direct’s Doug Bowser and Yoshiaki Koizumi announce Luigi’s Mansion 3 for the Nintendo Switch during Nintendo’s portion, as it’s such a callback to my childhood and a fun series in general. Nintendo games are what really started me off as a gamer, and this series is one of many that really captured my heart. I look forward to the game’s release!

The announcement of Luigi’s Mansion 3 for Nintendo switch by Nintendo was an awesome surprise. The original Luigi’s mansion for the GameCube was the first video game I owned, so I am excited they have another entry in this series.
I am most excited about Banjo-Kazooie being a downloadable character on Nintendo’s Super Smash Brothers for Switch. It is one of the only games I play on that console.

PS4 Square Enix Naoki Yoshida drops this? Final Fantasy 14: Shadow Bringers (expansion release July 2, 2019). Did you watch the trailer? No, seriously. Did you? O M G. Stunning gfx and vo. “Become a warrior of darkness.” Hey, life is all about balance, right? – I’m in! All humour aside, it is so exciting. What a work of art. Gorgeous, not to mention, wow, THAT story!
Oh, and you were curious what the original pick was? Okay, okay. 😉 PS4 Square Enix Tetsuya Nomura Final Fantasy 7 Remake (set for March 2020 release). How can you not admire the effort, determination, and tireless hours they have put into this remake? Amazing. This will be fantastic to play.
Now… just need an 80 inch screen to play on (can you imagine what that would be like?!!). Or the phenomenal PS4 prize package. *waits hopefully*
Rock On Best Buy!
The most anticipated for me has to be Star Wars Jedi : Fallen Order from EA and Respawn Entertainment. It has been years since a good Star Wars game has come out. After the release of Star Wars Battlefront II (2017), major disappointment, my dreams were crushed, my greatest fear that another terrible Star Wars game was realized, all hope lost…or was it? Watching the Fallen Order trailer and announcement from E3, my hopes were stregthened, my passion reignited, that the gods of the old Star Wars games (such as Knights of the Old Republic) had heard my cries and answered my prayers, that a game worthy of the name Star Wars and to carry the legacy of LucasArts should come upon us again….Perhaps there is yet still life in the Force after all.

New information about Cyberpunk 2077 by CD Projekt it looks like it would be an interesting game with many choices.
I am extremely excited to play the Forza Horizon 4: Lego Speed Champions Expansion. When Microsoft showed the gameplay at this years E3 I was blown away. Such a creative add on, to what is already an amazing Xbox exclusive. I have been a long time fan of both Lego and the Forza series, and this fills me with nostalgia. I will certainly have to buy the Xbox One ASAP so I can play, and my PS4 will have to take some time off.
I am excited about the Microsoft XBOX Project Scarlett.
