A Premium TV from one of the top television manufacturers like Sony, Samsung, and LG takes home entertainment to a whole new level. Each brand has their own spectacular technologies to bring out the best from the movies, TV shows, and sports that you love to watch. You can find a huge selection of these televisions right now online at Bestbuy.ca. Also, read carefully below then enter this amazing contest: three Canadians will win an amazing Premium television!
Premium TVs begin with outstanding new technology
I get this question quite frequently on the blog and on social media, “I want to buy a new TV; can you tell me which TV should I get?” My answer is to figure out your budget and space considerations for the room where it will be placed, then get the most future friendly TV with the largest screen that will fit in your home that you can afford. Future friendly means best technology available. And this year is a banner year for new technology in televisions.
I am planning on getting a new set for my home one day. I have a budget in mind and a TV size in mind (65 inch). I haven’t decided which brand to purchase yet because they are all so tempting! Each of the top manufactures has released new televisions with outstanding new technologies that make the colours more vibrant, details clearer, and the overall entertainment experience much better.
Do your research and plan for your next TV
Buying a television does require doing a bit of research. This contest will help you do that so you will know which future friendly Premium TV will be right for your home. There are three television prizes, one from each of the major TV manufacturers, Samsung, Sony, and LG, as shown here.
These are all premium prizes, so you must do a bit of work before you enter to win one of them. Since each of these brands provided a prize for this contest, you’ll be allowed to enter once per brand. Read the directions below carefully.
How to enter
Entering this contest is easy and you can enter once for each brand that provided a prize to this contest for a total of three unique entries: one entry about Sony, one about Samsung, and one about LG. For each entry, in a comment below, tell us
a) which new technology by that brand has you most excited about their Premium TVs this year. You can go to these articles for information about the new technology from each brand.
b) which model by that brand on the Best Buy website is your favourite (you must be precise: saying something like “any model” is not a valid response).
What you can win
At the end of the contest, we will randomly select three winners from all eligible entries to receive one of the three televisions shown above.
This contest runs from June 1st to June 15th.
Remember you can enter once for each brand of television offered as a prize in this contest. However, you must know lots of people who would be thrilled for a chance to win one of these televisions. Share this contest with them and tell them to read the instructions carefully so each of their entries is valid and gives them a chance to win.

Can you believe that? Are we already in the future? Or is the future here? Has Star Trek Nanotechnology assimilated us? How small can you go to deliver incredible quality and detail? Well..incredible technology with LG NanoCell which produces pure colours by applying about 1nm-sized nanoparticles to filter out dull colour and enhance colour purity. It delivers a stunning visual experience. Nanoparticles transform impure colours into pure colours, enhancing TV picture quality with colour that’s vivid and accurate. According to the CTA, when defining resolution, contrast modulation (CM) must be 50% or more. The higher the CM value, the clearer the image. LG NanoCell has a CM level of 97.8%. This far exceeds international standards and makes pure colours even clearer. 33 gazillion billion pixels. Seriously, 33 million pixels (7680X4320)(7680X4320) for awesome viewing quality!
LG NanoCell 75″ 8K UHD HDR LED webOS Smart TV Smart TV (75NANO99UNA) , gotta have this so I can see the NanoCell, wait, can I see the individual Nanocell? no , I can enjoy the Collective NanoCells on the display!

Imagine having an Infinity screen! I can watch what’s on TV instead of watching the TV. It brings all-new levels of immersion and realism that no TV can.
If I could win this, then the only thing I could wish for is an Infinity swimming pool. Samsung when are you going to make an Infinity swimming pool so that I can go swimming with a water resistant Galaxy Watch?
Samsung 85″ 8K UHD HDR QLED Tizen Smart TV (QN85Q900TSFXZC) – Stainless Steel would be a great prize.
It’s on sale right now if you can’t wait.

Samsung
a. Samsung 8K resolution
b. Samsung 55″ 8K UHD HDR QLED Tizen Smart TV (QN55Q900RBFXZC)
Sony:
a. Sony X900H
b. Sony 65″ 4K UHD HDR OLED Android Smart TV (XBR65A8G)
Sony has me most excited about their premium TVs this year. I personally like the XBR65X950H model; it’s the perfect size and I love how it uses Android/Google smart TV.
Samsung has great quality screen!
I used to repair monitors and can spot aberrations and details that others cannot. Most TVs have some issue or another when looking at them but the picture processor x1 ultimate brings home ultimate realism and individual objects have true-to-life color depth, far closer to reality. Sony’s technology looks to be excitingly refreshing as Sony’s color reproduction has always been richer and also they produce deeper shades of each color. Clear and sharper images. They always seem to push the boundaries of picture quality and innovation than the competition.
The Sony 85″ 8K UHD HDR LED Android Smart TV (XBR85Z9G) from Bestbuy would be a welcome addition to my aging home entertainment system and it would be a lot easier to see with my aging eyes!

love them all….but if i have to choose i will go with SONY BRAVIA 65″ 4K UHD HDR OLED Android Smart TV (XBR65A8H)
PERFECT SIZE AND TECHNOLOGY
LG’s NanoCell technology sounds like a game changer for extended the benefits of Dolby Vision beyond HDR. The LG NanoCEll 65” (65NANO86UNA) would make a beautiful addition to any room, whether it’s exceptionally dark or not.
I have a 4K TV, but Samsung’s move into 8K would be an amazing leap forward in resolution. The 8K Quantum Processor would be incredible for sound optimization as well. Imagine the Samsung 65” UHD HDR QLED (QN65Q800TAFXZC) in your living room!
Sony’s X-Motion Clarity technology sounds very promising. I have an OLED TV that is not good at handling fast pans. It’s often noticeable and anything that would improve this would be welcome. The Song X900H seems like a great panel for taking advantage of this technology.
I am really impressed with the quality of the Sony Premium 4K Tvs. The sharp quality and high compatibility is a desired feature of smart tvs. The desired brand is Sony 49″ 4K UHD HDR LED Android Smart TV (XBR49X800H).
The LG 65″ 4K UHD HDR OLED Smart TV (OLED65C9UA) would be perfect to have in our home for its incredible picture clarity and the integrated 40W speaker system providing a rich sound to enhance gaming experience and movie watching!
I currently have a TV that is too heavy to mount on my living room wall. I was very impressed when reading about LG’s minimalist Gallery series. The TV’s are so slim they look like artwork hung on your wall rather than big, clunky displays. A very thin 20 millimeters with a wall mount that keeps the TV flush to your wall ensures that no room is wasted.
Any TV viewing experience would be enhanced with an LG 55″ 4K UHD HDR OLED WebOS Smart TV – maybe one day I will own one!
I’ve always been impressed by Samsung products and currently own a Samsung android phone, which I love. Samsung is innovative and leads the market with 4K TV’s that have ultra high definition. I was looking at one at a store the other day and the picture was unbelievable….it was so detailed I felt like I could step into the screen and be part of the action! It’s almost hard to believe that Samsung 4K TV’s have more than 8 million pixels in total – that’s 4 times more detail than high-definition TV’s.
Can you imagine having a TV where you can use the screen to double as a frame for beautiful artwork? This is why I would pick the Samsung The Frame 55″ 4K UHD HDR QLED Tizen Smart TV for my home….after watching some Netflix, you could turn your screen into a Monet or a Degas painting. So cool!
Not certain that I need “realer than real” but the super sharp, ultra high definition video that comes from
Samsung 4K UHD TVs will surely enhance my traveling by video since real life travel is off the table for now. Can’t go
wrong with 8 mil+ pixels. Like the Samsung QN75Q90TAFXZC.
I am really excited for the versatile f the LG nanocell tv. having the gaming and versatility of the 8 K
id love the LG NanoCell 75″ 8K UHD HDR LED webOS Smart TV (75SM9970PUA)
I have had TV’s in the past that had really dull and dark colour. I really like the Triluminos display from Sony. The colour is vibrant and bright. It apparently reproduces more colours than other brand TV’s can and the colour is even and true.
I like the Sony BRAVIA 49″ 4K UHD HDR LED Android Smart TV. I have never owned a TV over 40 inches but this TV makes me want to go bigger and better.
Wow, LG nanotechnology sounds awesome and this is really Affordable! And would be a great addition to our living room…LG NanoCell 65″ 4K UHD HDR LED webOS Smart TV Smart TV (65NANO85UNA)
I’m excited for the Samsung direct full array 32x back light and 4k technology. We love our movies! the Samsung 65” 4K UHD HDR QLED Tizen Smart TV (QN65Q90TAFXZC) – Titan Black would be a great fit!
I really like the NanoCell technology for beautiful, realistic display and the LG NanoCell (75NANO99UNA) Would be The perfect Centerpiece in our tv room.
They all sound great, but being a lover of the motion. Its the X-motion clarity technology that I look for. Would love to upgrade to a Sony 65″ 4K UHD HDR LED Android Smart TV (XBR65X950H)
My favourite model is the Samsung The Frame 65″ 4K UHD HDR QLED Tizen Smart TV (QN65LS03TAFXZC) and the 8K resolution sounds awesome!!
I love Samsung’s ambient mode technology to allow the display of art while the tv is not in use and how they Frame and Serif models feel like a piece of the room. The Samsung The Frame 55″ 4K UHD HDR QLED Tizen Smart TV (QN55LS03TAFXZC) would be perfect for our tv room.
I really like the Sony Acoustic Surface Audio technology for creating better built in sound. The Sony Bravia A8H would meet my family needs for great visuals, gaming, and sound.
If I were to be reincarnated as a television I would like to come back as a Sony 98″ 8K UHD HDR LED Android Smart TV (XBR98Z9G). It would be a taste of heaven on earth. No more hellish fiddling around with cables. No more devil in the details. Heavenly sound without a sound bar (do I hear a comparison to an angelic choir?). Even earthlings could manage the controls through their voices using Google Assistant. Picture quality that is out of this world (a comparison to heaven?).
A) I am excited about Sony’s X-Motion Clarity technology
B) Sony BRAVIA 65″ 4K UHD HDR OLED Android Smart TV (XBR65A8H) would be AMAZING!
Love the technology that allows the simplistic, unobtrusive designs in the LG minimalist Gallery Series. Our viewing room is not dedicated to television but when we do use it we like the best. This series appears to deliver. A OLED65GXPUA from Best Buy would fit the bill nicely.
I’m most excited by LG’s NanoCell technology for nanoparticles! Model 65NANO99UNA would be my favourite.
love the LG NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility which provides incredibly detailed picture quality
I’m most excited by Samsung’s QLED technology. The 75″ Frame model QN75LS03TAFXZC is my favourite.
