Premium TVs begin with outstanding new technology

I get this question quite frequently on the blog and on social media, “I want to buy a new TV; can you tell me which TV should I get?” My answer is to figure out your budget and space considerations for the room where it will be placed, then get the most future friendly TV with the largest screen that will fit in your home that you can afford. Future friendly means best technology available. And this year is a banner year for new technology in televisions.

I am planning on getting a new set for my home one day. I have a budget in mind and a TV size in mind (65 inch). I haven’t decided which brand to purchase yet because they are all so tempting! Each of the top manufactures has released new televisions with outstanding new technologies that make the colours more vibrant, details clearer, and the overall entertainment experience much better.

Do your research and plan for your next TV

Buying a television does require doing a bit of research. This contest will help you do that so you will know which future friendly Premium TV will be right for your home. There are three television prizes, one from each of the major TV manufacturers, Samsung, Sony, and LG, as shown here.

  19. With a maximum of 240 Motion Rate the top of the line Samsung TV’s sound excellent for catching all the smallest details on movies or when watching sports. My favourite model by Samsung that is offered is the Samsung 75″ 4K UHD HDR QLED Tizen Smart TV (QN75Q70TAFXZC) mainly because of the high motion rate (aside from crystal clear video quality and Samsung reliability)!

  20. The 80W Acoustic Multi-Audio on the Sony Z9G TV line sounds bonkers when compared to the 20W of audio on my current TV! My favorite model would certainly have to be the Sony 98″ 8K UHD HDR LED Android Smart TV (XBR98Z9G) because who wouldn’t want a darn near 100″ TV!!

  21. SAMSUNG – Ok now the AI buzzword is overused, but I am excited about a TV that optimizes the sound and brightness/picture for the room I am in. Depending on the time of year, or time of day,, the TV room we have changes dramatically in ambient light and this would be a super sweet feature to have backed in. SONY – Reading through the article, I am most interested in the Acoustic Multi-Audio technology; my entertainment space is already crowded, and if I can rely on the TV’s speakers for great sound, that is worth a lot to me. The XBR49X950H would be the choice for me – again, no room for anything bigger!

  31. The NVidia G-Sync tech on LG tv’s is a game-changer (literally!). I’m an avid gamer and screen tearing drives me insane, but g-sync would eliminate that issue altogether.
