All you need for a perfect summer sports viewing party is a great BenQ projector. And this is a great summer to invite friends and family over too. Which summer sports will you be watching

Recently I watched some amazing Grand Slam tennis and European Football games. Those events were a great start to a summer filled with history making sporting events in almost every summer sport you can think of: swimming, track and field, gymnastics and the list goes on and on. Throughout the summer there will be fantastic sports to enjoy right up to the football season.

There are lots of ways to enjoy sports too. You could watch on your phone for the convenience of mobility. You could watch on your regular television … like you’ve been doing in isolation all year long. Or you could invite lots of friends over for a summer viewing party that will no one you will be able to say no to. Pick a sport (there are events happening all over the world, at all times of the day and night), call your guests, plan your snacks, fire up the BBQ, and get ready to party.

  2. In a comment on only one of Andy’s review articles (either the BenQ X1300i or the BenQ TK850i but not both) tell us which sport you want to watch using a BenQ projector this summer.

What you can win

At the end of this contest we will randomly select two winners from all eligible entries. One person will win the BenQ X1300i Gaming Projector that Andy tested for the blog and the other will win the BenQ TK850i Smart Home Theatre Projector that Andy tested for the blog.

This contest will run from July 16th until August 3rd.

  8. I would love to get a TK850i for two key reasons: 4K (I don’t have any devices in my house that are above 1080p sadly) and the better built in speakers. With neither projector having Bluetooth, it worries me the additional wiring that would be required to connect to a sound bar. Having at least useable speakers would go a long way to resolving some concern. Additionally, I like the shorter throw distance over the gaming projector. Either way though, both seem to be well reviewed projectors.

  10. I’d love to win the BenQ XI300i projector to play my xbox series X outdoors for a late night gaming sess, this projector is sweet.

  24. BenQ TK850i would be my choice because of the 4K I have a 720P projector and when you try for the larger screen size the resolution plays a big factor on enjoying movies and game cut scenes.

    • I would enjoy the BenQ TK850i more because the accurate colour reproduction is more important to me than low latency. HDR would be amazing!

  48. I prefer the BenQ TK850i Smart Home Theatre Projector because it can do 4k. I plan to make a gaming room in my basement one day and it would be the perfect start!

  50. My choice is The BenQ TK850i . It seems like a very capable projector, offering really good out of the box color and brightness options. The projector states it is capable of doing a visibly better job on very dark scenes.
