Great sounding music, in every room in your home, is easier than ever to achieve. The options are endless. Enter this contest and you may just get some amazing Thonet & Vander bookshelf speakers for your living room, or dining room, or bedroom….

Where do you need more speakers

I have speakers in 3 rooms in my home. In my kitchen I have a Google Home Mini with a speaker. It works great for setting timers while cooking and playing some background music or podcasts from Spotify. I also have one in my dining room, which is less ideal for music, but fortunately the open design of my home allows my living room tower speakers to provide the full rich sounds throughout both the dining and living room areas.(Actually, my Google Home Mini still controls all of the music coming from those speaker too!).

However, I could use more speakers: in the bedrooms, in the bathrooms and on the outside deck. I think most of us can, and the speakers we are giving away in this contest would make an excellent addition to any home.

Thonet & Vander speakers sound great and are very versatile

Blogger Jeff Wilson had a chance to test these speakers for our blog and he says these are probably the best sounding Bluetooth speakers he has ever heard. Read his article to find out about their power, versatility (connect with wires or wirelessly), and the great finish of these speakers. They are bookshelf speakers, so you can put them almost anywhere you want to have amazing sound.

In this image they are on Jeff’s stereo stand. You can connect them to your television, your stereo or use them as they are. They have an amplifier built in so you can just stream your content from your phone to the speaker using Bluetooth if you want.

With that kind of versatility you could put them almost anywhere in your home. Enter this contest, and you may have to decide which room gets the honour of providing a new home for these great speakers.

How to enter

This contest is easy to enter, but you can only enter once. First look around your home and figure out all of the rooms where you ideally would want to have great stereo sound. In a comment below this article, tell us how many speakers you think would be ideal for your home. If you also have a preference for the kind of speaker you would like in each room then please include that information too.

What you can win

At the end of the contest we will select one entry from all eligible comments to receive a pair of Thonet & Vander speakers.

This contest will run from February 2nd until February 15th.

You can only enter once. Share this entry to give your friends a chance to win too. We regularly conduct many contests on the blog (trust me there are many more on the way this month!) so your friends might reciprocate and remind you to enter one of the others!

Good Luck!

  1. I would say 4 speakers would be ideal for my living room. Would love to embrace the surround sound! šŸ™‚

  2. We like to enjoy loud music while we clean our home so, I would love a system that can pump out full 7.1 sound system I can put in our living room and just crank so you can hear it down the street while we clean or while we are enjoying a great movie the way the director intended it to be heard.

  3. I would have two sets, one set on the second floor, and one set on the main floor. Look forward to listening to some great tunes in a set of great speakers!

  4. I think 9 speakers is perfect for my home. 5.1 surround in the living room for TV/music, 2 speakers in my bedroom for stereo music, one in the kitchen, one in the shower and one wireless one on the deck by the BBQ šŸ™‚

  5. A pair of speakers for the living room, one for the kitchen and one for the back bedroom would be ideal. Awesome giveaway! Thank you.

  6. I have a very small home with enough volume one could likely use one set of speakers. However a more sophisticated set-up would require small sets of speakers in the kitchen, living room and three bedrooms. In addition I would like to have a set of speakers for the backyard and the garage.

  7. Ideally, we could use 3 pairs of speakers – one for our kitchen, one for living room and it would be great too have a pair in the bedroom.

  8. i am not an audiophile but as a taxi driver i like to know a little of everything to tell to my customers so tell me what i need for my two bedroom apartment with large balcony.

  9. I’d like to have a sound bar plus 2 speakers in the living room, 2 speakers for the basement, and one for my room!

  10. I love a full, rich sound in my bedroom so I would love to have one or tower speakers in there. The kitchen is also a place I love to play loud music, cook and to entertain so 2-4 bookshelf speakers I could hide in there would be so great to have.

  11. I have wired speakers for my home theatre and my living room sound system. I would love 2 pairs of these Thonet & Vander speakers.
One set would be used to extend the living room sound system to a bedroom.
The beauty of these powered speakers is that I can hook up my old DUAL turntable directly to them without buying another amp. Nice!

  12. I could probably use two pairs of speakers in my home, one pair for the living and another pair in my bedroom.

  13. I have a small living space that’s open concept so these speakers would fill my home with sound….fingers crossed.

  14. I could definitely use 1 speaker in the kitchen, 2 upstairs and 2 in our tv room! I love to clean the house, unload groceries, cook, and jam to music! The louder the better!!

  15. We are in the process of renovating our home so I think that the great room and T.V. room would be where I would like speakers. I think 4 would work for these areas. Since the kids left home, I find the house so quiet and love having the radio or music on to have the sound made by my children happily playing replaced by music.

  16. In a perfect world 2 each in the bedroom and backyard, 1 each in the bathroom and kitchen, 5 in the living room for surround sound. That’s a total of 11 !

  17. I live in an apartment, I never had any speakers but I think 3 speakers would be able to give my living room some great surround sound. Thanks!
