Media streaming devices, like the new ones from Roku, are a necessity in 2020. The streaming wars have only just begun and the winners in this war will be us. More options for streaming services and more great shows to watch will be great for everyone, providing you have a streaming device that will deliver all of this content. So, enter this contest for a chance to win one of the newest Roku streaming devices for your home theatre.

Which streaming device is right for you

Roku devices have many features that make them preferred streaming choices. Erin Lawrence recently reviewed the three new Roku devices that we are giving away in this contest. Read her articles to learn about the content available, the features that distinguish each device, and the great Roku app that offers some fantastic features like “Private Listening” (my favourite feature!). Most importantly, they are simple to use. Plug it into an HDMI port of your television, create a Roku account, and start streaming. Easily add more channels and connect to your streaming accounts. Roku has done a great job to make this one of the easiest streaming devices for even the least technically savvy person in your household.

What movies and TV shows will you stream this year

Life is better with options: especially when it comes to home theatre viewing. And Roku has been delivering a huge variety of content to your television for many years. You can stream the larger streaming channels, like Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video. You can also stream the new channels that were just announced this past year: Apple TV+ and Disney+. However, Roku has much more to offer. There are actually thousands to channels available on Roku devices, many offering content absolutely free.

Entering this contest is easy but you can only enter once. You must enter both pieces of info to be eligible for a prize: 1. favourite channel; 2. what program or show!

What you can win

There are two of each of these prizes available to be won in this contest: Roku Premier 4K Media Streamer with Remote; Roku Express Media Streamer with Remote; and Roku Streaming Stick+ Media Streamer with Remote. At the end of this contest, we will select six (6) winners from all eligible entries. Each winner will receive one of the prizes.

This contest runs from January 3rd until January 19th.

  9. Disney+ is definitely my favourite channel to stream with the family, so many great titles! With a Roku device we will immediately jump straight into Toy Story, one of our all-time favourites.

  16. Netflix and I’d watch the witcher. Looks so good. I’m looking for a reason to get a new tv. This would be perfect for it since it would have nothing to play anything on it.

  26. My favourite channel would be the Disney Channel for my grandkids. They spend a lot of time with us and I already tape movies on my PVR, but this would be so much better. I would stream “Frozen II” for them right away, but would also stream some of our shows, like Survivor, and other shows that we often miss out on and movies of course.

    But I would probably stream Disney Plus first because I can’t get it on my current tv!

  45. We like watching Netflix as a family. If we win a Roku Media Streamer, the show we would most likely watch first would either be Brooklyn nine-nine or an episode of Adventure Time.
