So many people have Sony on their wishlist at Christmas time. Sony under the Christmas tree

I’m surprised no one has invented a holiday song related to finding Sony under the tree on Christmas morning. Holiday songs are all about traditions we cherish and repeat and I think Sony has become part of many people’s holiday tradition. Don’t we all have a Sony holiday memory? I know I do.

A long, long time ago, I was dying for a portable cassette player: and of course Sony was “the brand” with their Walkman line. There aren’t many gifts from my past that I remember opening, but I can recall unwrapping that bright yellow Walkman Sport like the one shown here—vividly remember!

My first thin LED big screen TV was, and still is, a Sony. I’ve had it for over 13 years now and still love the picture quality. When it finally bids me farewell, the Sony XBR55A8G that we are giving away in this contest would be a fantastic replacement. I sent one of these to Shelly to review and she absolutely loved it for watching the newest movies and even for gaming. The OLED screen really has to be seen to be believed—it is that amazing!   4. The Sony A6400. It’s simply the best camera of the year for all-around usage for photography and videography. There are better cameras, including the Sony A7III, but for the price point, there is no better value than the A6400!

  22. This is an easy choice. I would pair it up with a PS4. That would finish up my home entertainment system very nicely.
    My favorite holiday memory with a Sony product was last Christmas we had family staying at our house. My niece (17) and nephew (15) were sleeping in every day. One morning I wanted to wake them up. I started streaming some very bass heavy dance music on my HTST5000 Sony soundbar in the basement. I had full cast control with my cell phone. It woke them up pretty good.

  26. The PS4 pro is undoubtedly the most stellar companion available for this TV. Incredible games and original compelling interactive art will look it’s best on an oled Bravia. Sony always has a place in my heart at the holidays.

    We had a Sony smart TV a few years ago but my kids were jump off the sofa (totally not allowed to do) and knocked into the TV. That was a very sad day…it had such a beautiful picture quality.
