Star Wars toys keep getting better with each new movie. Two years ago, when “The Force Awakens” introduced the cute droid BB-8, Sphero introduced their incredibly accurate working version of the droid. Star Wars toys are an integral aspect of the experience: many of us grew up playing with them. So with a new movie arriving this year, Best Buy will help ensure this tradition continues by giving away almost $4000 worth of Star Wars toys in this contest! Star Wars toys are not just for kids

Star Wars toys were always the coolest thing around. When we were kids they were cool, and nothing has change: kids today still love them. Interestingly, adults still love them too. They are not just for collectors either. I’ve met many adults who either still have Star Wars toys from when they were a kid, or ones they’ve acquired more recently.

I have a shiny silver Millennium Falcon that I think is great. It sits next to my computer at Best Buy’s head office. I used to have this massive tie fighter (shown in the image on the right) at my desk too. Unfortunately, our office was recently rearranged and it had to be moved. If I was to choose one of the newest toys as a replacement it would definitely be the Propel Speeder Bike Drone shown in the image at the top.

  3. I have wanted an R2D2 drone for so long. The new SPHERO STAR WARS R2-D2 APP-ENABLED DROID is so awesome. This is my favourite prize. I also really, really like the LittleBits sets.   9. Sphero Star Wars R2-D2 App-Enabled Droid Wold be neat because I think coding is such a useful skill to teach my kids. And R2-D2 is the best who wouldn’t want him.

  10. I would love to have a BB9 Sphero Robot for my kids. They got to try one out and loved it. The coding is amazing to learn and play at a young age. Both of my kids are eager to see the new movie and even though BB9 looks evil, they think he’s cute too.

  13. Best Buy…. this is AWESOME! My favourite is the “STAR WARS BB8 RC” Because BB8 is adorable and my boyfriend and I were talking about naming our next dog BB8…. so why not just have one of our own personal robot BB8s! Plus it would make an awesome show and tell at school with the kids!

  20. I love the R2D2 Sphero droid. From the first time I saw Star Wars in the theatre in 1977, I have always loved R2D2. I would love to see how R2 interacts with my BB8.

  27. My favourite toy would have to be the sphere r2d2. I have always loved r2 and he is my favourite character in the star wars universe. It would make me so happy to have my own little r2 running around.

  36. Our favorite toy is the littleBits Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit. Star Wars has always been a part of my life. Some of my earliest memories are of Star Wars and R2-D2. Building a droid with my son would be so much fun flr us both and educational for him, well probably dad too lol. It would also be a way for me to relive what Star Wars meant for me as a child through him.

  39. My favourite has to be the Sphero Star Wars BB-9E droid. It’s trying SO hard to be an evil nemesis, but its cuteness factor is always going to get in the way – and you just KNOW how much Vader appreciates “cute.” I’m sure that BB-9E will be much happier following a trail to my kitchen – we have cookies! 😀

  42. I like them all because i am a collector of Star wars and i would like to have them all but i like the new one UBTECH STORM TROOPERS it will be good for my collections.

  45. My favourite toy is the Sphero Star Wars R2-Q5 App-Enabled Droid 🙂 I grew up watching Star Wars and R2D2 was what really sold it to me. So having an R2D2 around the house would be really cool!

  46. The Star Wars BB8 RC allows my kids to really see how cool Star Wars was when I was little and they become fans for the new generation.

  48. My favourite would be the Lenovo Star Wars: Jedi Challenges VR Headset with Saber & Beacon. We have quite a few padawans here, and it would help with our training a lot! It looks really fun for all of us.

  49. favourite toy would definitely be the Sphero R2-D2, it looks amazing and the action and sound effects are just like the real thing! I’m 49 and still love toys!…lol

  50. My favourite has to be the Sphero BB-8. I fell in love with the little droid during TFA movie and I have always wanted my own little sidekick. It’s cute and fun!
