Star Wars toys keep getting better with each new movie. Two years ago, when “The Force Awakens” introduced the cute droid BB-8, Sphero introduced their incredibly accurate working version of the droid. Star Wars toys are an integral aspect of the experience: many of us grew up playing with them. So with a new movie arriving this year, Best Buy will help ensure this tradition continues by giving away almost $4000 worth of Star Wars toys in this contest! Which one are you dying to add to your collection?

Star Wars toys are not just for kids

Star Wars toys were always the coolest thing around. When we were kids they were cool, and nothing has change: kids today still love them. Interestingly, adults still love them too. They are not just for collectors either. I’ve met many adults who either still have Star Wars toys from when they were a kid, or ones they’ve acquired more recently.

I have a shiny silver Millennium Falcon that I think is great. It sits next to my computer at Best Buy’s head office. I used to have this massive tie fighter (shown in the image on the right) at my desk too. Unfortunately, our office was recently rearranged and it had to be moved. If I was to choose one of the newest toys as a replacement it would definitely be the Propel Speeder Bike Drone shown in the image at the top.

Boost your Star Wars collection with one contest entry

Few people have the dedication, and the good fortune, to have a large collection of Star Wars toys. Enter this contest and that will change. We will give away 2 great collections of this year’s new Star Wars toys as shown here:

Each of these prize packages has intelligent droids, exciting and fun drones, and the just announced, augmented reality wonder: Jedi Challenges—I bet this will be the hottest new toy for Christmas this year!

How to enter

As with all contests on the Best Buy blog, entering is easy. You can enter only once. In a comment below this article, tell us which one of the Star Wars toys in this contest prize is your favourite and why (you must tell us why it’s your favourite).

What you can win

We will randomly choose 2 winners from all eligible entries. One person will be awarded Prize A shown above, and the other will be awarded Prize B. Each prize is worth approximately $1880.

This contest runs from October 20th until November 2nd, 2017.

Remember you can only enter once. With prizes this fantastic, I suggest you increase your chances by telling all of your friends and family to enter too, and propose if any of your win you share the prize! Use the share buttons below to easily post the contest on your social channels.

  1. The little bits Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit is my favorite. Is something that my son and I could build and enjoy hours of fun interacting and building. Interactive building toys are great!

  2. I think the tech stormtrooper is my favorite because I have fond memories of the original Star Wars stormtroopers as a kid. Every time I see them I remember playing with them many years ago.

  3. UBTECH Star Wars Stormtrooper Robot is clearly the coolest things on the list, ok I lied all the things are soo cool!!!!!

  4. I like the droid inventor kits b/c you can see what’s inside the droid and perfect for kids who like to take things apart.

  5. Would LOVE the Lenovo Star Wars: Jedi Challenges VR Headset with Saber & Beacon, because even as a mom I would totally play with this. It would be a blast… I would definitely share the prize with my 17 year old son who knows all there is to know about Star Wars. We would also donate a few items to Gillian’s Place for a child in need

  6. Winning would be like going to Star Wars heaven! The Littlebits Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit is my favourite. It would be awesome for my daughter and I to build together.

  7. The Lenovo Star Wars jedi challenges would be my favourite. Ive been a Star Wars fan since a new hope came out in 1977 and I’ve always been interested in vr but too but just can’t seem to afford it, and the fact that it’s Star Wars puts it at the top of my “wish I had that ” list. Thank you Best Buy for the chance to win this awesome prize.

  8. I love the Lenovo Star Wars: Jedi Challenges VR Headset with Saber & Beacon because I was in the theatre for the very first showing of “Star Wars” and loved the idea of the Jedi Knights. However, I would donate it and any other parts of the prize to an auction to raise money for either AFRETECH Aid Society or the Arthritis Society because these two organizations need the money more than I need toys.

  9. When I was a little boy I used to dream of becoming a pilot one day. Not just any pilot the the best one in the entire galaxy. I was/ AM star wars obsessed. I can repeat nearly every single movie word for word – except Jar Jar because well who understands/ actively remembers him?

However I was unfortunate enough to catch Tuberculosis at 11 and one of the side effects of the medication was weakened eye sight that ended up with me getting glasses to rectify.

Given such my dream died right there.

This would be incredible to win this. I could become the best pilot in the galaxy … for a drone.

  10. My favourite toy is the SPHERO STAR WARS R2-D2 APP-ENABLED DROID. As I came of age during the first trilogy, my fascination with R2D2 has been lifelong. This toy just looks like a heap of interactive fun!

  11. My fav is the BB-8 Droid! I love that you can controll it with your phone. This would be a perfect gift for my husband.

  12. Favorite is Propel Star Wars TIE Fighter Advanced Battling Quadcopter Drone. Why? Because someone needs to take down those rebel scum flying their drones around 🙂 and who doesn’t want to fly a tie fighter?

  13. Spin Master Star Wars BB-8 Interactive Droid!!!!!!! Not only is it exceptionally life-like but its lights and sounds would be an amazing party trick! Also, with it’s follow mode I’ll never feel lonely again lol.

  14. Wowowowowowow
The tie fighter drone is sooo cool. These prizes are all amazing. The droid inventor kit is neat but the drone is def my fav item

  15. The littleBits Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit would be awesome. So many different options with Little Bits kits.

  16. The little it’s Star Wars Droid is my favorite because I think the whole family would enjoy building our own droid!

  17. My favourite toy is the Propel Star Wars TIE Fighter Advanced Battling Quadcopter Drone because it has working guns that can take down other drones and so it can be used as a game with other people.

  18. It’s so hard to decide between the

SW DROID INVENTOR KIT, the SPHERO SW BB-8 APP-ENABLED DROID, & the LENOVO STAR WARS: JEDI CHALLENGES.

Who doesn’t want to build their own R2D2, control the cutest Droid in the universe (BB8), or practice to be a freaking Jedi!!

My poor brain can’t handle the decision process so I’ll let Chewbacca decide for me. Chewie?

    “Mrrrwwwawrrrr brrwhhhaargh”

  19. I love the little BB-8 Droid! How cool is he? I love that he is bluetooth enabled and can be controlled by your phone. And he looks so much like the “real” BB-8. Such a cute little droid. My husband and son would love to find this under the tree at Christmas.

  20. The Lenovo Star wars: Jedi Challenges is my favorite. My kids run around the house on a daily basis playing with their light sabers and this would be such a cool thing for them to have. My kids love anything star wars and are going as BB-8, Yoda and a Jedi for Halloween ! Not to mention my husband is a kid at heart and loves the new gadgets!

  21. Spin Master Star Wars BB-8 Interactive Droid is my favourite because I adore BB8 and who doesn’t want that little guy rolling around the house!

  22. The toy I love the most would have to be the Sphero Star Wars BB-8 App-Enabled Droid. Episode VII has been my favourite in the series so far, and Poe Dameron is my fave character. Having a little BB-8 of my own would be amazing. I also have friends who have the Sphero and I know that he’s cute beyond words.

  23. I love the Littlebits Droid inventor kit because you can enjoy Star Wars while using your imagination and being creative!

  24. The Lenovo Star Wars: Jedi Challenges VR Headset is my favourite toy because it would fulfill my life long dream of becoming a Jedi !!!

  25. Has to be LENOVO STAR WARS: JEDI CHALLENGES. I love the idea of a full immersion experience. And the kids will love it. A nice intro to Star Wars.

  26. Sphero R2D2 App Enabled Droid is my favourite!
Why? That’s easy! He’s one of the originals and how can you not like this spunky litttle droid?!? He’s one of the best! Thanks for this opportunity !

  27. UB TECH STORMTROOPER. It speaks for itself. It is not only a storm trooper but also has all the bells and whistles that a toy in 2017 can have! AR, voice command, facial recognition plus more! Its a total Star Wars fan toy! I want to put the trooper to work for me.

  28. Tie Fighter drone is my favorite, drones are fun to play with and a tie drone would be better than the small copter drone I have already

  29. Sphero Star Wars R2-D2 App-Enabled Droid
This is my favourite ! Because as it has more functions than ordinary ones, I think a good toy needs to make some connections with owner, the smarter they are, the better people will like it

  30. The LITTLEBITS STAR WARS DROID INVENTOR KIT is my favourite to teach my daughters about STEAM and allow us to spend some quality time together, however, I know that the SPHERO STAR WARS BB-9E APP-ENABLED DROID would be my son’s favourite – being a droid lover and Sphero having such fun and interactive toys : )

  31. It was a hard choice to pick just one but I’m going with what I think would be my son’s favourite, littleBits Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit. My son loves building things from lego and I think this would be a step up for him. As well, it’s R2D2! We both agree R2 is the unsung hero of the who franchise. How many times did he get Ankin out of a jam, then Luke. Waiting to see what happens in the Last Jedi.

  32. I honestly have always loved R2 Q5 its been my favorite R2 unit since i watched starwars movies when i was five

  33. The BB-8
It would be so awesome to have a one of a kind droid being controlled by me. My grandsons would totally love to have one of their own.

  34. The LITTLEBITS STAR WARS DROID INVENTOR KIT is my favourite. It would be fun and educational for my daughter. I love interactive toys that incorporates engineering and playtime.

  35. I absolutely love the droid inventor kit as it’s the Science and Micano kit of this generation. I think my kids would have a blast building and creating with me and on their own! So cool!!
