IK Multimedia released the iRig UA Guitar Effects Processor. They’ve offloaded the processing work that happens on iOS devices to the actual interface unit resulting in a near zero latency spec – we were told that it’s down to 2 miliseconds. As new Amps and effects come out for the app, they will get automatically updated on the iRig device so that you stay seemlessly current with the latest amps and effects.

he iRig Mic Studio packs a big package into a small footprint. They label this microphone as a “large diaphragm condensor”. Even though this mic can literally fit in the palm of your hand, it sports a 1″ diaphragm capsule.
There are knobs for mic gain and headphone volume and comes with cables to make this work with virtually all portable devices out there.
Other features include a 24-bit A/D converter (with 44.1/48 kHz sample rate) and a built-in low-noise high-definition preamp. These, combined with its 133dB SPL rating, allow for recording at any sound pressure level — it can capture everything from the subtle and nuanced dynamics of the human voice to the full-on bombast of an amplified electric guitar, and everything in between.
