Philips shavers and toothbrushes motivate us to care for ourselves. I am a huge advocate of their products: I’ve used Philips shavers my whole adult life. And for the past few years I’ve had cleaner, healthier teeth thanks to my Philips electric toothbrush. The benefits go well beyond looking better too. Enter this contest and if you win you too will understand why I never want to be without Philips.
Discover the importance of “me time” with Philips
How much time in a day to you set aside for personal care? I know some people do a better job at this than others; and, circumstance may have changed recently for many people, so they aren’t doing things like haircuts and dental visits as often. That should make setting some time for yourself each day even more important.
Many guys lately, me included, have been letting their facial hair grow lately. I don’t mind having a beard; I do mind when it is unkempt. With a Philips shaver or trimmer trimming and shaping your look would do more than just make you happier with your appearance. Putting yourself first for a few minutes each day will make you an overall happier, healthier person.
Finding personal time each day is easier with personal care tools
We all need to invest some time each day on ourselves to stay healthy and happy. One great thing about the new Philips electric toothbrushes is they tell you when you’ve brushed enough. Most people who get one learn immediately that they had not been taking enough time for oral hygiene. I realized very quickly after starting to use my Philips toothbrush that my whole mouth felt better and looked better as a result.
For this contest, I want you to think about how much time each day on average you actually spend on taking care of yourself. Then imaging if you won a prize in this contest and how using it for a few minutes each day might benefit you.
How to enter
Entering this contest is easy but you can only enter once. In a comment below, tell us how many minutes on average in a given day you spend on yourself and do you think this is enough, too little, or too much.

Good Luck.
Normally I take about 45 minutes taking my time getting ready to go out. Now 10 minutes
I find I normally spent about 30 minutes on myself getting ready for work in the morning, but now I’m not really caring as much so it’s probably about 15 minutes.
I take roughly 15-30mins a day for personal care. I’m a single mother so I don’t get much time for myself. Got to hurry up and get to my lovely daughter. Thanks for the chance.
5-10 minutes daily
I spend about 20 minutes a day on myself which isn’t enough but that’s what happens when you have kids and put their needs first. They are my world!
Probably like 5 min because I have a toddler who won’t give me that luxury.
About 15 to 30 minutes per day … depends .. sometimes its is a nice soak in the tub other times it is a quick shower. Really depends on the day and my agenda.
I spend around 20-25 minutes a day on personal care, which is probably not enough but how can you improve upon perfection? lol.
With two little kids at home…less than 10! Need more
I would say 45 minutes a day. Showers are an ordeal for me with shaving my legs and conditioning, cleaning the shower, applying product to my hair and styling. I am exhausted thinking about it. And then there is 5 to 10 minutes of brushing teeth and five minutes washing my face.
like 15-30 mins a day ! I’m hecka laid back and low maintenance for a lady
I spend roughly 30 minutes on myself. I know it should be more, but I am busy with work and taking care of my daughter.
About 30 mins, yes for me it is enough time spent.
20 mins
I like to take a good amount of time on my teeth
I like a good shave all the women I know do not like facial hair.
20 min which is too little
30 min which is too little
I have three teenage boys and two of them already need to shave. Their current razors make it that they both spend at least 30-45 mins daily in the one bathroom 6 of us share. This would be great if they could both speed up their times lol mom would like to use the bathroom to get ready as well 🙂
10 minutes =)
Right now with not going out much maybe 10 minutes could be more. In normal times when we got to go out 45 mins. Could do more now but why?
Maybe 20 minutes, it’s definitely not enough, but you take what you can get with two little ones.
If I’m actually getting ready and not just taking my sweet time 20 mins… ok 30?
I spend about 30 minutes a day for personal care but I know I should spend more.
30 minutes a day
I spend a few hours a day depending what’s going on. Which I think is sufficent. Shower, facial, meditation and yoga in the morning. Light jogs and nature walks around the neighbourhood. Relaxation with a glass of wine and a good book or simply indulging in a good t.v show like Money Heist or Ozark (done both) lol. Self care comes in many small instances. Taking time to yourself for any enjoyment each day is essential. 🙂
I spenf about half hour on personal care.
I only an hour to myself everyday witch is not enough I would love to win this prize package so that I will be able to have more time to myself
30 minutes max
15-30 minutes… but I should spend more.
Maybe 10 minutes and no it is not enough !
Around 10 to 15 minutes. Probably should be more.
5-10 minutes, I should spend more time on myself.
Oops sorry replied to your comment by accident.
I spend about 30 minutes on personal care and about 2 hours reading or exercising for myself.
not very much maybe 15 min . I think its fine
5 mins or so. Need to be more
About 20 minutes most days. I feel that is all I need
prob 30 – 40 — just about right
Averaging it out I’d say I spend a solid 8 minutes on myself, everyday of the week. It’s good, if i spent more time on myself it would cost money, and there isnt alot of that going around.
about 15 – should be more
I’m a single mom with a four year old, I’m lucky if I get 15 minutes! Not enough 🙁
Half an hour.
About 20 minutes. Definitely should spend more time.
30 min a day…i think it’s not enough
my husband spends 20 minutes
I spend approximately 10 – 15 minutes a day. I’m comfortable with the time used and is about the right Time.
everyday I spend almost 20 min just for me and I deserve it
Treating yourself to “me” time is important and with a stressful job it’s good to relax. 45min to an hour for me.
Around 1-2 hours, which is still barely enough.
I spend more now that I am home because of Covid 19
About 15-30 minutes a day
Thank you
About 15 minutes and I think that’s enough.
20-25 minutes if I am lucky and not nearly enough me time
Probably 30 minutes for self care as I have to assist hubby to get ready for his day
