One of my absolute favourite toys growing up was my Fisher-Price kitchen set. It was technically my older sister’s, but as a curious toddler, ownership was a tenuous concept at best. My sister liked to organize the plastic fruit and veggies and pots in pans in perfect order—I liked to mess up that order. She ended up trying to tape the little cupboards closed, but it turns out scotch tape isn’t a very strong adhesive, and I continued to gleefully make my imaginary meals, as well as a mess.   8. We had a Fisher Price Garage that was passed down though all the children in our family…nieces and nephews. When it got to my children, about 15 years later, it did not have much life left to it but it was still fun for them. We did invest in a newer one, but still kept the old one for awhile.
