There are few monitors more profound, versatile, and perfectly designed for gaming than the Samsung Odyssey Ark gaming monitor. This monitor puts you in the game. With stunning colours and clarity, a response time you expect in a gaming monitor (165Hz refresh, 1ms response time) the consequences of your thoughts are immediate—like you are in the game. During gaming month Best Buy will have many gaming contests, and this one is for anyone who wants their gaming bigger and better than ever. The prize is the same monitor that we sent to Marcus (pictured above) for an honest review. I saved that sample at the office when it returned from Marcus so that I could give it away during gaming month. Read his review to learn about this monitor and enter this contest to win it!
Are you really in the game
Like most things in life that are real, gaming ability and gaming interest falls on a normal distribution (aka, a bell curve). Some of us are “Little Game” and some of us are “Big Game.” I fall on the far left at about a “3” on the scale since I don’t play games very much. But I work with talented writers on the Best Buy blog, like Jon Scarr and Matthew Rondina who are at “8” or “9” on the scale (reserving a “10” for professional eSport players).
Introspect for a minute. What kind of gamer are you? When hostile aliens come to visit Earth, will you be on the “A” list of people the army calls for the big “drone battle in the sky” or will you be someone, like me, they ask to do more farming to feed the troops? Hey I could use a big monitor like the Samsung Odyssey Ark to plan my crops!
Who in your life is the biggest gamer you know
Okay so I have established that I am not “Good Game” and certainly not “Big Game.” You likely have a good idea where you land on this scale, but how about the people in your life. Are they more game or less game than you? In other words, would they be more likely or less likely to get the most benefit from having this amazing monitor prize in their home. For some people this might be a sensitive topic: food fights have started with less incentive. I’m not trying to raise hackles, or move anyone to cast judgement. If a consensus is not immediately forthcoming, then this is likely the kind of question best settled with … a game! Perhaps you’ll get to play it using this monitor.
I understand, however, that many people might think this monitor is too big for their home. That’s okay. Samsung has a huge selection of gaming monitors, smart monitors, curved monitors, efficient productivity monitors, and more. In fact, many of them are on sale this month so you’ll likely find exactly the monitor you need for gaming, for school, for work ….

Win a Samsung Odyssey Ark gaming monitor
Good luck.
I would try street fighter with my friend Scott . We started playing this game in the arcades years ago . It’s fun to challenge each other .
My son Jake and we would play Gran turismo
I would play Mario Kart with my Grandchildren and Children!
My brother Geoff and I grew up playing Super Smash Bros and were always similarly skilled; whoever won just depended on the character match-up. It’d be fun to play again.
My nephew Leo and it would be Mariokart.
I would play Gran Turismo with Nate, he’s the same level player but with practice I could win!
My friend, Sam, is close to the same gaming skill as I and we would probably play Minecraft to prove it (though he’d likely win.Again.)
My friend, Matt, is very close to the same level of gamer as me. If we were going to compete, I would want to play CS:GO because it is a game we are both familiar with.
Play with Deb. Gran Turismo because I can drive better.
Super Mario challenge with Janna
Maybe a street fighter game with Andrew
I don’t game but my son does so I’d give it to him as a graduation gift.
I would compete with Becky. We are both no good at Fortnite but we try. I think im better
Playing the original Mortal Kombat game with my sister El. Fighting games are cool because you can have so many rounds and really see who is the best!
I would play Mario Kart 8 against my son since that’s his favourite game
My bro, Walter – Forza, but I think I’m the better driver.
My friend David and we would play one of the older battlefields like bad company 2 or BF3 since we were both fairly proficient at it and have lots of fun.
Matthew & I would play Mario Kart as I can give him a run for his money on this one.
I’d play with Cameron (my son) and challenge him to a game of Mario Kart!
J’aimerais jouer à Super Mario avec ma fille.
my cousin Steven, in a racing game like Forza Motorsport he thinks he’s a better driver
I would like to play Super Mario with my sister.
I’d compete with my wife on the latest COD. She can get headshots like nobody’s business.
Jim Bob and I are finally gonna settle who is better at Street Fighter V because we are moving on to Street Fighter 6.
Street Fighter with Eric.
Melody, Super Mario because it’s a fun game.
My Grand Daughters Alissa & Samantha are ahead of The Game With Computer Matches. Mario Would be our Choice. Look Out For Gramma!
Scott, and we’d play Rocket League because it’s a great competitive game.
I would play Mario Kart with my adult kids. Mario Kart is the only game I can remotely follow!
Me vs my son elijah in call of duty….. i still think i am better…. the game play in call of duty is still simple but done very well….
I would play Super Smash Bros Melee with my brother Etienne since we are on the same level and very competitive.
I compete with my grandson Brayden every Friday when he comes to stay overnight. I always beat him at Grand Turismo, much to his disappointment. He beats me at everything else.
I would take on Aaron in NHL 23, it’s a game neither of us plays often and would give the fairest match.
Bob and I would compete . We have fun with Mario Kart
I’d at my friend Pete in Mario Kart because it’s a classic
My buddy Neoclis, If we compete he’ll beat me at first, but I’ll beat him after a week or so.
We’ll be playing Street Fighter 6 because there ain’t no better competition than fighting games.
My buddy Shack is probably closest to me. Competition I would say Gran Turismo and I think I would come out on top 😉
I would play my son Ethan Lego 2K Drive. He loves to build lego, race and beat me. I enjoy the first two and try to keep up so he doesn’t beat me too often.
my brother Steven, in a racing game like Forza Motorsport, he just recently had knee surgery so I might just win a few times
my friend paul , we would battle against each other in fortnite
Bren would come to play some survival games and we would see who could last the longest without dying in 7 day to die. I am usually better at collecting things but Bren is better at combat. It would be fun to see who can get further.
I’d compete with my buddy Sylvain playing Need for Speed Porsche Unleashed Remastered. Maybe this time I’ll finally be able to beat him at it.
I’d play Mario Kart 8 with my wife Jenny we love competing in online and one on one.
Al – not too many head-to-head games we both play that would really be a fair comparison, though. I’d challenge in some driving game like Forza if I wanted a win, but that wouldn’t be fair.
Will is very close to me in gamer level, if we had to compete I’d pick halo infinite because it not only tests us in aiming but also in tactical and strategical levels. I’d definitely crush him!
Tom. I would play Mario Kart because it is a racing game
Curtis is about the same level as me. I’d challenge him in Hunt: Showdown for bragging rights.
I recently got turned onto Forza Motorsport, It is really fun and I’d love to challenge Kim to a game, not sure who would win!
Trevor – Gran Turismo – I’m definitely the better driver.
Play with Dave at Tetrix because that is the only game he understands
