However, in the second leg at the Santiago Bernabéu, Real Madrid staged a stunning comeback, winning 3-0 with goals from Karim Benzema, Sergio Ramos, and a decisive third goal from Cristiano Ronaldo. This aggregate 4-3 victory propelled them into the final, where they went on to win the Champions League by defeating Atlético Madrid 4-1 after extra time.

Final score: 3-1. It was the football equivalent of a plot twist so wild you’d think it was written by a soap opera writer on a sugar high!
