What new traditions are you starting for Family Day

Opportunities to spend time with your loved ones can be few and far between. Why not start a new tradition for Family Day this year to look forward to every February? If you’re going to join us at the Bentway, ice skating could become a new tradition for your family. Or, if you live near mountains, you might like to go skiing or snowshoeing on Family Day to make the most of the Canadian winter days. If you’d rather spend the day indoors, playing a new board game every year might be a fun activity everyone would enjoy! Or, you and your loved ones could also enter one of our contests for a chance to win the latest and greatest tech!

However you choose to celebrate, we hope you have a great time with your family on February 20th. And if you live in Toronto, see you at the Bentway!

  1. We got snowshoes for xmas so would love to spend the day out some where then go for hot chocolate in th afternoon before returning home with pizza would be a perfect day and tradition

  2. I would like to bundle everyone up in parkas and have an outdoor weiner roast in our backyard when it is full of snow! I think the smell and crackle of the fire would be so fun against the winter backdrop, plus hot dogs would taste so much better I think!

  8. I would like to start a family day tradition where everyone in the family decides on an activity to do and then we either go with the majority, try to fit in as many of the activities as we can, or we alternate the chosen activities from year to year. I think it would be a lot of fun, no matter what we do each year as long as we do it all together.

  9. A recreation centre with children’s rock climbing has opened near us and we would start a tradition of going rock climbing but on snowy days our old tradition is to go sledding.
