At Christmas, we make all of my mother-in-law’s favourite recipes. Although she lives far away, it makes us feel close to her when we eat her favourite sweets. The kids call her on facetime to show her our creations.
The one KitchenAid stand mixer attachment I think would be most useful for our family is the flex edge beater and pour edge. It would prevent spills and having to dirty more utensils.
My Mom turns 83 this month, for years we have talked about us making Xmas cake together. This year we did it! Funnily enough she had a beautiful Kitchen Aid mixer to do this!

My inspirational story is how my family always makes a homemade gingerbread house. We make the pattern for the house, make our own gingerbread, bake it, make the icing, assemble and decorate. Now mixing the gingerbread is super hard on our mixmaster. I have managed to burn out the motors on a few handmixers over the years. Then we have to mix the dough by hand. I would love to own this heavy duty mixmaster so that we can continue making our gingerbread houses in style.
One Christmas we went to my brother’s for Christmas who never hosts a dinner which he doesn’t cater. This time he made the turkey and he didn’t know how to cut the turkey so he sliced them about 1-2 inches thick. It was so funny and we talk about it all the time. He hasn’t hosted Christmas dinner since lol
