A high-quality stove is the centerpiece of a good kitchen. Though they began in automotives, Bosch recently transferred this knowledge to making high-quality home appliances.

When choosing a stove it is important to begin by choosing between gas and electric. Both types have pros and cons – electric stoves tend to distribute heat more evenly where as gas stoves have more precise heat control and the stovetop tends to cook faster as the flames travel up the sides of the pot in addition to the bottom.

If you are looking for a gas model, I would recommend the Bosch 5.0 Cu. Ft. Self-Clean Gas Range. The four cooking modes use Bosch convection cooking technology, which results in consistent, equal heat distribution every time. The massive oven capacity is great for bigger dishes, with 5 rack ridges for the 2 included racks. The best part of this model, in my opinion, is the stovetop. This model offers 5 burners, with four around the outside and one in the middle. I like the option of the middle burner because it allows for flexibility when using bigger pans and cooking larger meals. Each of the 5 burners offers precise heat control for delicate sauces and soups with a 500 BTU simmer setting.

This oven also has a unique design as both the sides and back of the oven have a stainless steel finish, allowing it to be free standing if necessary. Lastly, clean up is quick and easy with Bosch’s self-clean setting.

In regards to electric, Bosch offers a vast selection of electric free-standing ovens, wall ovens and cooktops. A great free-standing model is the Bosch 4.6 Cu. Ft. Self-Clean Smooth Top Convection Range. You’ll be able to bring out your inner chef with the 8 cooking modes, including Sabbath, proof and dehydration modes. There is also a keep warm mode that keeps food warm without drying it out. In addition, you can expect consistently well-cooked meals with internal genuine European convection (with ACS) technology. The stovetop includes four elements and “Touch & Turn” oven controls for easy temperature control. What I also like about this model is the 1.3 cu. ft. warming drawer on the bottom.

Depending on your kitchen, a wall oven and matching cooktop may work better for your design. If this is the case, the Bosch 4.7 Cu. Ft. Self-Clean Electric Wall Oven is a great choice.

Though wall ovens tend to be smaller, this model has an internal oven capacity of 4.7 cubic feet, which is the same capacity as many of the Bosch free-standing units. It is designed to sit flush with your cabinets and the Clear Touch glass makes it easy to clean. I also love the delay start function that allows your food to start cooking before you even get home from work!

If you have a lot of mouths to feed, think about upping your cooking potential by investing in a double wall oven like the Bosch Double Self-Clean Electric Wall Oven. In addition to many features listed above, this model also uses Speed Conduction, which decreases cooking time by 30%, and a Meat Probe feature for perfectly cooked roasts every time. It has 14 cooking modes, including Sabbath and a Recipe Mode which allows you to pre-program up to 30 heat settings. It also has a variety of custom cooking modes for popular meals, such as pizza and pie. When the time comes, the EcoClean Self-clean cycle will clean your unit in less than 2 hours.

Whether you choose a single or a double, pair your wall oven with a Bosch cooktop. The Bosch 36” Induction Cooktop has many high-quality cooking and safety features, making it a great partner to any wall oven!

The cooktop has 5 elements with PotSense technology that automatically adjusts the heating radius to the size of the pot. You have 17 settings available to you on the PreciseSelect control panel and the AutoChef sensor senses and maintains the perfect frying temperature for whatever’s on the stove. It also has a few safety features including a ChildLock feature that prevents the cooktop from being turned on accidentally and a SafeStart feature that stops an element from heating up unless proper cookware is present. To prevent overheating, there is an Anti-overheat system that automatically shuts off the cooktop when an element exceeds the set temperature. There is also an Overflow Detection alarm that sounds when a liquid has overflowed onto the cooktop and while you’re cleaning up the spill, the CleanLock system will stop the settings from being changed accidentally.

Bosch offers gas and electric free-standing ovens, wall ovens and cooktops making them the perfect option for any kitchen design! Each has their own set of unique features that will save you time, keep you safe, and cook consistently delicious meals every time!
