That’s one of the immediate advantages of the Oculus Quest 2: with no tether, no attached cable, you quickly lose yourself—the virtual environment essentially becomes the real world for you!

  1. I’m very exited to see the difference between the quest one, and quest 2. The ability to get 90hz on a portable vr device is crazy I’m curious to see how amazing games will look

  3. I love that you don’t need a console or computer to operate it just your phone! That’s pretty amazing!

  5. The portability of this VR is just awesome especially with the config and love the awareness camera to sense the surroundings. Also hooking up with the PC via cable to stream games is a good thought from oculus.

    Only downside I see is, there is no option to extend the memory. I would like to have library games. Also for some the Facebook login might be bothering but not for me.

    The review could have also had more details about the battery life as well.

    I would definitely love to play games on this console.

  6. My son and I go to a VR arcade all the time and would love to have our own VR set up!

    I really like that you don’t have to sit down like all the other video games and you can stay active! We would use it for gaming of course haha

  18. I have and love the Oculus Rift but to go wireless with the Oculus Quest 2 is a must for VR. I’d mostly use it for gaming but it would be cool to watch movies as well.

  25. Very good wirel;ess VR i got the OPculus one and i have fun with my daughters playing with it with a 2 version they set the standard a bit by upgrading the system and the colour love to have those 2

  26. I love the new design and portability. I live in a small room with my computer. So the ability to play VR in my living room wirelessly is amazing

  31. The bomb for the Oculus Quest 2 is that it’s wireless, no cords to clutter, trip over or the cats to play with. We would use it for movies, and gaming in our house.

  42. I’ve been looking to get into some VR gaming for a long time but being tethered to a cord seemed too outdated, I’m glad they finally came out with a wireless version. Can’t wait to finally try the newest and most immersive way of gaming!

  44. I have a weakened immune system so going out in public is not really an option for me, especially with COVID and the winter flu season. For me, the Quest 2 VR allows me to ‘escape’ to other worlds, socialize and play games with my friends….all without having to leave the safety of my house. Also, the Quest2 does not require me to have a ‘gaming PC’ or a tether cable to use it. This means I can use it for exercise/motion type games.

I would love to use the Oculus 2 for family qaulity time, whether it’s gaming, movie night, & definitely interested in exploring different areas of nature that otherwise may not be possible due to the current situation covid-19 I am very excited about exploring what ever is out there and available through the Oculus 2 VR is on a whole nother level of full on entertainment the family would love to add this to our entertainment system

  47. Awesome graphics and no screen door effect. I will use it to stay in shape as I’m a boxer. Playing the thrill of the fight wirelessly would be heaven while the gyms are closed.

  48. I like that Oculus seems more comfortable and convenient to wear than other VR (no cables!!!).
    I would get it for my 11 yr old son, so he could play his games and really enjoy them!

  49. I ilike the fact that the Oculus Quest 2 is a untethered device. Having no dangling cables to deal with would make immersing yourself in the VR experience much more enjoyable.

  50. Having used the oculus go, I love that the quest 2 has 6dof and increased graphics. Also the ability to be wireless or go wired is awesome!
