Premium TVs begin with outstanding new technology

I get this question quite frequently on the blog and on social media, “I want to buy a new TV; can you tell me which TV should I get?” My answer is to figure out your budget and space considerations for the room where it will be placed, then get the most future friendly TV with the largest screen that will fit in your home that you can afford. Future friendly means best technology available. And this year is a banner year for new technology in televisions.

I am planning on getting a new set for my home one day. I have a budget in mind and a TV size in mind (65 inch). I haven’t decided which brand to purchase yet because they are all so tempting! Each of the top manufactures has released new televisions with outstanding new technologies that make the colours more vibrant, details clearer, and the overall entertainment experience much better.

Do your research and plan for your next TV

Buying a television does require doing a bit of research. This contest will help you do that so you will know which future friendly Premium TV will be right for your home. There are three television prizes, one from each of the major TV manufacturers, Samsung, Sony, and LG, as shown here.

  11. A) I’ve long admired the LG displays. As an avid gamer, I love how immersive their OLED panels are, especially when paired with NVIDIA G-SYNC. The deep blacks of these displays is unmatched, and I always enjoy the chance to game on one of their TVs.

    B) I would really love the LG NanoCell 65″ 4K UHD HDR LED webOS Smart TV (65NANO86UNA).

  25. a) Samsung has always been a premium brand with their advancements in the latest technology. With the 8 million pixels it permits, it creates a realistic capture, vivid colour contrast and amazing brightness display that makes you feel immersed into the sharp quality motion picture. Just when I thought 4K was amazing, Samsung upped their technology with 8K resolution with 16 times the resolution with HD. WOW. With their new technological advancements in Artificial Intelligence learning, Samsung continues to prosper to transform even the lowest quality picture into the best. Alongside the Quantum Processor, the sound and brightness fits perfectly within the environment to make you feel immersed within the frame. Speaking of frame, Samsung’s new development called “The Frame” is crafted to look like a simplistic art piece to blend into a space. At the same time, it continues to deliver high definition and versatile quality through their QLED display. I also loved Samsung’s Ambient Mode that creates a flexibility to adjust to its surroundings, giving that “at home” feeling. Overall, Samsung is an outstanding brand that would create an immersive experience from streaming in transforming high-resolution images to listening to music with Quantum Sound.

    b) I would absolutely love to receive the Samsung The Frame 65″ 4K UHD HDR QLED Tizen Smart TV (QN65LS03TAFXZC). It would truly mean the world to me as I have loved Samsung’s greatness in the latest technology. With this model, it incorporates all of Samsung’s premium technology into one piece that has me very excited!

  28. a) The Sony brand has me the most excited for the TRILUMINOS display. The colourful video picture that the technology represents makes way for an immersive experience for a crystal-quality focus. The technology gets me even more excited with the new X1 Processor. This makes way for a 4K video that makes a cinematic experience with greater attention to detail, more depth, and a much sharper picture array of colour. The Sony brand has just been uprising with their technology greats from huge advancements such as sound enhancing technology with Acoustic Surface Audio that gives a multi-dimensional feel. Overall, this more dynamic experience would create a virtual world perfect for me to play video games, watching movies, listening to music and even streaming.

    b) I would absolutely love to receive the Sony 65″ 4K UHD HDR LED Android Smart TV (XBR65X950H). This would truly mean the world to me because Sony has been a brand I have always enjoyed using, and will continue to as their future of technology advances greatly!

  29. These all three companies’ models are so good, but I love the most is LG NanoCell 65″ 4K UHD HDR LED webOS Smart TV (65NANO86UNA). This feature attracts me the most: α7 Gen 3 Processor with AI picture and AI sound optimises clarity, sharpness, brightness. and apparently, I have a TV which is not good for this feature. I am also Life’s GOOD (LG) fan so I love LG premium TVs the most.

  42. My favourite feature of Samsungs The Frame (QN65LS03TAFXZC) is its One Connect Box which lets you seamlessly access the TVs ports with minimal cable clutter.
    I’m also a professional photographer/artist so I’m a fan of its artistic innovation within its design.
    On top of that it has the usual bells and whistles of Samsungs premium displays:
    4k resolution, HDR, 120hz Freesync technology, QLED 100% colour, etc.

  50. All three TV models are great in their own regard. However, the Sony (XBR65X950H) model gets me the most excited.
    The triluminous 4k HDR display really pops out, the immersive 120hz refresh rate provides a competitive edge when gaming, and the thin bezels make it a modern centerpiece for living room entertainment.
    As a enthusiast gamer and media consumer this TV pretty much has the complete package for modern tech buffs.
    To top it all off; the 4 HDMI ports and Google Home adds a level of convenience when someone misplaces the TV remote! Haha
