All you need for a perfect summer sports viewing party is a great BenQ projector. And this is a great summer to invite friends and family over too. Which summer sports will you be watching

Recently I watched some amazing Grand Slam tennis and European Football games. Those events were a great start to a summer filled with history making sporting events in almost every summer sport you can think of: swimming, track and field, gymnastics and the list goes on and on. Throughout the summer there will be fantastic sports to enjoy right up to the football season.

There are lots of ways to enjoy sports too. You could watch on your phone for the convenience of mobility. You could watch on your regular television … like you’ve been doing in isolation all year long. Or you could invite lots of friends over for a summer viewing party that will no one you will be able to say no to. Pick a sport (there are events happening all over the world, at all times of the day and night), call your guests, plan your snacks, fire up the BBQ, and get ready to party.

We sent each of these projectors to tech writer Andy Baryer for an honest review. He loved the amazing 137 inch 4K display from the BenQ TK850i.   2. In a comment on only one of Andy’s review articles (either the BenQ X1300i or the BenQ TK850i but not both) tell us which sport you want to watch using a BenQ projector this summer.

What you can win

At the end of this contest we will randomly select two winners from all eligible entries. One person will win the BenQ X1300i Gaming Projector that Andy tested for the blog and the other will win the BenQ TK850i Smart Home Theatre Projector that Andy tested for the blog.

This contest will run from July 16th until August 3rd.

  16. My favourite here would be the BenQ X1300i Gaming Projector. Thanks to all our continued efforts and hard work in dealing with the recent pandemic, I’ll be able to live on campus in the dorms starting this fall. Since this projector provides full HD 1080p resolution, it would be great for our dormitory so that we could all play games, watch movies, sports, etc., while maintaining acceptable social distancing. The BenQ X1300i Gaming Projector features some of the best latency in the industry (8.3ms@120Hz), excellent color rendition (LED 98% Rec.709) and built in audio (5W*2 treVolo stereo speakers ) which is just what we’re looking for. It’ll be great for gaming, movies and entertainment.

  26. BenQ X1300i gaming projector all the way. I have a switch and am hoping to get a PS5 soon so hooking that up to it would be such an experience. With lower latency I could play much higher paced games (call of duty etc) without having to sacrifice timing. Also considering I have a large white blank wall angled in my room it would be the most beautiful set up! The other one honestly isnt bad, but I would be silly to not favour the one optimized for gaming.

  27. I would like the BenQ TK850i because of the quality of the picture. I would love to set up a sheet in the back yard, and pull out the home movies with a whole bunch of family. It would be amazing to watch the Olympic Diving with the BenQ TK850i also

  32. Best Buy is giving away BenQ X1300i Gaming Projector and the BenQ TK850i Smart Home Theatre Projector. My favorite one is the BenQ X1300i gaming projector. I love that is has Full HD 1920 x 1080 screen resolution with 16:9 aspect ratio and 98% REC 709 colour space gives you a sharp and finely detailed image clarity in vibrant colours. Would love to project mine and my husbands games on our Playstation at our seasonal camp. This would be so awesome. Having fun while still enjoying the awesome weather we are having.
    Would love to watch baseball on the BenQ X1300i projector this summer. This is an amazing give away.

  34. The BenQ TK850i projector is definitely my favourite because this easy set-up, 4K projector would be the perfect match to my Netflix binges, basketball games, UFC fights, and horror movies! Entertainment brings people together while creating a community. This projector would be at the front and centre of backyard event nights amongst family and friends.
