There is one great scene in the second Tim Allan Santa Clause movie where a boring staff Christmas party is transformed into a fantastic, memorable night for all (in the film and in the theatre watching the film) thanks to a sackful of nostalgic toys like Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots. In a comment below, tell us the name of the new toy at Best Buy, and the name of the toy it reminds you of, and any great memory you have with that toy (or perhaps it’s just a nice feeling?).
- Social post: For one additional entry, create a public post on a social media channel sharing with your friends and followers that you are entering a Best Buy blog contest for a chance to win a lot of toys. Include the hashtag #BestBuyToyContest, so we can find your post, and include any picture from this contest page. Then return here and tell us in a comment below on which channel you posted it and the name of your channel (since many people use pseudonyms) so that we can check and verify your entry. You can use any social media channel (X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Thread, LinkedIn, etc.), but the post must be public so we can verify it is there.
What you can win
At the end of this contest, we will randomly select 12 winners from all eligible entries. Each winner will be randomly assigned to win a fantastic bundle of toys from Best Buy. The 12 prize packages are shown at the bottom of this page.
This contest runs from Nov 3rd to Dec 3rd.

The Hasbro The Game of Life Board Game reminds me of a Game of Life computer game I used to have. I think I just got it as a free CD in a box of cereal. For something so simple I had a lot fun playing that game.

Hasbro games- our family is very competitive and our Christmas tradition is to play a variety of games and the winners get small goofy prizes, lol. Even though the prizes aren’t worth slot of money, it’s all about bragging rights

It’s not a new toy, but I remember playing Hasbro’s the Game of Life with my friends. I loved you could fill your car with little pink or blue headpins to represent your family zipping around the game board. So cute!

For sure a lot of the Hasbro games bring back nostalgic memories for me. Scattergories, or Yahtzee are definitely old classics but I can’t believe they’re still available now, and a Best Buy

Hasbro’s scrabble has an upgraded board it has wheels also a case for easy transport. Played in the past and still do. It is my most favorite game to play.

LeapFrog. My parents bought us a Gameboy for when we traveled. Just pulled it out of the closet the other day. I thought there was color to the Tetris game- not! But in my mind the screen was larger, more colorful but definitely lots of fun and challenges.

The Hasbro Make It Real Light-Up Cosmetic Kit brings back great memories of going to department store and trying on various shades of eye shadows with friends. Loads of laughs.
Droyd – closet I had on the farm was my dog hitched up to wagon. But I was driving tractor by the age of 12. Lots of horse power then. LOL
