LG has created a new premium phone, the G8x, that raises the bar for what a smartphone can be. It has two screens: the one that accompanies the regular phone and another screen in its case: click the phone in the case and suddenly your phone becomes a multi-tasking wonder machine. Additionally, it has one feature that most of us hated to lose on other new premium phones: a headphone jack! You may be wondering how much use you would get out of two screens on a phone. Personally, I think it’s life changing. Face it: we look at phones more than we look at our partners. So, a dual screen phone gives us twice as much to look at. You can watch “Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” on one screen and answer texts on the other. You can have the game on one screen and the controller can be on the other. The possibilities are ENDLESS!

  13. I would use this phone to video chat with my daughter at University and use the second screen to add in her grandparents or aunt and uncle who live in amother province. It would also come in handy if working from home because I use duals screens constantly at work needing so many programs and spreadsheets open all the time. LG this phone is amazing.

    • It would make life that much easier with everyday multitasking! On the off time it’d be great for some gaming. Thanks for the opportunity!

    • I’d hope I could compose emails on one screen while reviewing another email or my my inbox on the other screen.

    • If one side could have a keyboard, that might be useful for typing more complex things. Would be great while doing research, could have multiple things open and be doing direct comparisons. Of course like many others, I could watch something and text or message lol

  44. I could be on my Facebook or look up something else on another app or on Google on one screen. And on the second screen I can use the phone and look up info. on the 1st screen.

  49. I’m always toggling between two applications, just as my calendar and e-mail to send dates to someone, I would find it invaluable to be comparing lists etc….

  50. I would use it for many great things! To start the kids could play TOGETHER on something for once, same device, different screens, incredible! That in itself is amazing. I myself would probably use it for work to compare before and after images of my interior design work!
