Could your home use another security camera? Perhaps you don’t have any yet, so then the answer might definitely be YES! Even if you have a few, could you find a place to put another one? Enter this contest and you might win a fantastic new smart home camera from ezviz. Your home would then be on its way to becoming more secure in minutes.
How many cameras do you want around your home? My answer to this question is probably 6—and I am half-way there. I have one on my carport looking down the driveway, one by my front door and one by my back door. But that is not enough for me. I’d like one so I can see my garden shed, and one overlooking my vegetable stand. Both of these are not visible from my home so cameras would ensure that I can keep an eye on them no matter if I am home, or at work or wherever.
I also don’t have any inside my home; my wife is not too keen on cameras in the house. There are many good reasons to have one in the house (for example, to watch the pets when you’re not home) but she prefers to keep the cameras outside. I think her “no cameras in the house” outlook might change if I bought the Samsung Family Hub refrigerator with its 3 cameras inside so you can see the food without opening the door, and see what’s missing while shopping. Of course that is a whole different type of camera—extremely cool though! (Learn more about this fridge and other smart appliances in the article “10 surprising ways appliance technology has changed to make your life easier“.)

I would like to have 2 camera in the house and 1 for outside.
Minimum 4 cameras around the house to watch the front door, back door, side door, and driveway!
1 camera for front yard monitoring
I woud like 4 cameras outside my home to cover all opening to get into the house and 4 inside my home to protect the articles in the living room. rec room, the kitchen and the bedroom! Thank you.
Id love to have 4 cameras..Id install one in the kitchen to find out which one of my 3 sons left the mess in there..Id install one near the front door to find out who my sons are sneaking in and out of my house when Im not home..Id install one by my garage to find out who left all the empty beer bottles, hockey bags, golf bags and baseball bags in there..and Id place one outside of my bedroom patio door to see which one of my sons has lost their key and needed to break in through my bedroom.
5 cameras – back door, front door, garage and two inside so we could see what the dogs do all day! Lol! Thanks for the awesome giveaway!
One for the main door
I would like 3 cameras. one for the driveway because of the location it is an easy target for robberies, one for the front entrance and one at the start of my hallway that would show both the kitchen and living room so I can monitor my elderly mother …thank you for the great prizes
I think I would like FOUR Ezviz cameras for the exterior of our home. One @ Front Door (ie: avoid answering if it’s a Door-Door Salesperson), One of Driveway (has the snow plow gone by yet, should I send hubby out to shovel), and TWO for Back yard (what is the dog doing? Is this a pleasure or business trip for her? Is she eating plants in my gardens again? Is there another critter in our back yard – skunk alert?).
I think I would like two cameras. One to see who is stealing lunches and one to see who isn’t washing their dishes.
3 cameras for inside my home. – front door, back door, front room
Two for me is a minimum, that one at the front door and one at the backdoor. Maybe one for the garage entrance, but i don,t really think i need more.
I’d need 3 cameras to secure my buildings…the garage out back has already been broken into and the house front and back could use monitoring. Our house is only 752sq ft so if placed properly, the three cameras would be able to cover the exisiting windows and doors
I would like to have about 5 cameras to monitor the two floors inside my house, plus the front entrance, side of the house and backyard. This would be great! I love this technology and it would make me feel much safer!
Inside the house, I want three. That would cover most of the house. Outside, we could use 4 cameras to cover the garage, back yard, shed & driveway. We’ve been looking for wired outdoor systems. So I’ll be looking at the 4 camera system. It might just be what we have been looking for.
I would like 5 cameras to cover the whole house.1 in the backyard, 2 for both sides of the house, one that covers the garage and another to monitor the front door. This would be to monitor the house from all angles. The front door one is ideal to catch package deliveries and the garage to monitor the car.
I would love to have six security cameras. One for each side of my house and two for the backyard. I would like to have these for security.
I would need 3 cameras; one for the front door, one for the side of the house to cover the shed area and one for the back of the house to monitor the back door. The camera at the front of the house would allow me to see who is at the door so I can hide or not hahaha
I would need six cameras. I need to see who is at the back door, the front door and the garage/side door. Also two cameras to monitor areas outside hidden from the entryway cameras. Finally, the sixth camera for indoor monitoring of the great room.
I would need 5 cameras –one for each side of house and one for garage–all on outside. I would just feel safer in my home as there has been a lot of rural crime lately.
I`d like five cameras so I could cover the front and back doors, the garage, as well as the sides of the house that have window wells. We`ve had one break in since we lived here and I`d like to improve our feelings of security.
I would like 4 camera’s, one by the garage doors, one by the main entrance, and two inside the house. Right now I have no camera’s so winning this would be awesome in keeping my house safer.
Thank you, Best Buy & Ezviz for this amazing chance to win one of these cameras….they all look amazing.
For me, personally……..I think I could probably?? do with only ONE camera if I were asked. Coincidentally, I’ve been considering getting one for my home in the last while anyway. You see, I’m disabled and am basically “couch-bound” pretty much all day, etc……and where my front door is, I have to physically get up and go to the door to see who’s there, answer the door, etc……..and that is very painful for me.
Having a camera at that door that I can see “live”….looking out that way to see what’s going on out there, whether it be something I might hear……or if I hear someone coming to the door, etc……I can know if it’s someone I know in advance, or not, etc………..just making things that much more “safe & secure” for me in my disabled state. Not to mention it is also a deterrant for any potential “baddies” in the area…..not that we’ve ever had that kind of problem out here….but you never know.
Another great thing having a camera would do for me, would allow me to just viewing “My world”, even though it’s from my computer. At least it will let me “see” what’s going on around me if I ever need or want to at anytime. 🙂
So, thank you, Best Buy & Ezviz…….really appreciate the chance.
Scott.
4 outside 2 doors on the house and 2 on the barn. But one on the main door would be excellent!
5-6 external cameras would be about right. I’d especially need to watch the back entrance to my garage, the front door, and every area around the house where my cat likes to nap.
I would like 5 cameras total.
4 cameras outside would be enough to monitor the possible approaches. While I’m not too keen on indoor cameras either, I would love one pointed at our “furry kids” food and water for piece of mind while we are away for more than a day or two. Keep it turned off the rest of the time.
4 cameras would be ideal for our home. One for each of 3 entrances and one to monitor our very large woodpile stock that is regularly stolen from. I’m with Mr Renaud’s wife on not wanting cameras inside the house.
Interesting thought, how many cameras. Not too many, four or five, one in the garage, and the others watching over the property would do us very well. Good luck everyone…
I’m not sure how many I would need because I don’t have a single camera yet. Maybe 4, for each door on the house and 1 for the garage door.
4 cameras would be enough for me….covering every entrance into the house and the garage.
8 cameras, 2 on each side as well as garage, would be the minimum as our home is at a dead end, leading onto a large park area and trail system. It is very dark, close to the busy downtown nightlife and there are multiple vandalism/burglary incidents weekly in the neighborhood. Having cameras would definitely add peace of mind to our sleeptimes !
3 cameras would be a minimum, i think 5 cameras would probably be ideal
Front door, back door, inside the main area of my home. the two additional cameras would be placed on valuables, and garage!
I would love to have 5 security cameras –
1 for the area covering the front entrance to my home
1 for the back door area
1 for the garage door area
1 for the backyard area covering the entrance to the storage shed
1 for the area where I keep the recycling bins to record which of my neighbors is throwing non-recyclable and organic waste garbage in the my plastics/glass/metal recycling bin – grrr!!!!
I would need at least 3. One for my front door and one for my living room as well as upstairs in the hallway to see what my dog is doing while I’m not home.
At least 6 cameras to monitor the entrance ways inside my home and the front and back of my house so I can see who enters and exits lurks around outside.
i have seriously thought about this as i have previously considred getting cameras, 3 is the minimum for my place, near the front door and this is where the stairs are as well so its a highly visible and acessable location, the back of the house as it out of the way and needs secuirty, and 1 outdoor facing the entrance and a window that is somewhat hidden and could be a place of entry for a robbery.
If I were to have security cameras I would want at least 4.
– 1 for the front door.
– 1 for the side door.
– 1 for the east side to watch the windows that could be broken in
– 1 for the south side, also to watch the windows
Of the cameras listed above, only the 4-Channel 4 Bullet Camera wired system would work outside for me, as the temperature in Saskatchewan will be below -10 for most of the winter.
OOOOHH I feel bad for you and your tough winters, I hope if you win, they function properly!
I would use 4 myself. One for front door, back door , garage door and main living room area
I would probably only need 4; 3 entry points to the house, plus garage…so essentially 4 entry points LOL.
My concern with any inside the house is privacy, as this day and age, hackers are able to get into almost anything, and no one wants videos of me gaming in my PJs on the internet….NO ONE!
For my place I would only require 2. 1 for each entrance. But if it were for my parents place, I would require at least 3 I think. 1 on the Garage facing the Driveway & House Entrance, 1 on the back of the House to watch the Yard and Shed, and then 1 on the front to watch the other entrance.
Four so I could catch the occasional vandalism to our home and the dog walkers to never pick up after their dogs on our corner property
I would need at least 6 cameras outside the house in order to cover all angles. 2 for the front, 1 for each side, and 2 for the back of the house.
As for the inside, I would need 1 for the main entrance, 1 for the back entrance & 2 for the garage (1 for both the garage door entrances & 1 for the man door entrance to cover all my valuables in the bonus room above the garage).
Have been thinking of purchasing security cameras for the house especially since I have 2 small girls in the house now.
One inside, and one outside front. You can’t get to the back unless you climb on the roof. Oh, maybe I should have one up there too ha. Make that 3 for me!
5 outside is minimum. One front, One back, One Garage and driveway, and one for each sides of house.
2 inside is bonus.
2 cameras would be wonderful, this way I can see who is leaving marks on my car in the front , and keep an eye on my patio and so on in the back.
I’m with your wife, no cameras in the house! I’m sure somebody has already found a way to hack into these set-ups, so no way. However I would like 4 cameras around my place to keep the prowlers at bay and an eye on the wildlife having a nightly party in the yard.
6 min to monitor my parents house in and out
6 cameras. -to monitor outside property, vehicle and inside home
3 cameras for inside my home. 1st camera for my entry way so I can see anyone entering my home…..2nd camera for my dog’s area so I can see what he is up to when I am at work……..and the 3rd to monitor my living room.
I think this is a great idea. We live in a Townhouse community and all 3 would be smart to have. The ezviz cameras for inside and out would make total sense. I like the idea of a mini trouper for indoor/outoor and the mini 360 would be very safe and secure.
