While my smartphone is admittedly indispensable, it lacks the aura and allure of the wristwatch. More than simply a tool to tell time, the watch is also a statement of personal style and a symbol of humanity’s fascination with time and growth. I have recently found myself consuming a lot of content about time travel. I just watched the film “About Time” in which a man discovers all the men in his family can time travel, and I’m reading the novel “The Map of Time” which weaves real historic figures and imaginary characters together into a time-bending saga. These works have me thinking about how time has always fascinated and preoccupied the human mind. From fairy tales of prolonged sleep and agelessness, to classic novels like “The Time Machine,” and “A Wrinkle in Time,” to media like “Back to the Future” and “The Twilight Zone,” stories of time travel are all over history.

OK, Kate, you ask, what the heck does time travel have to do with a pair of very stylish Bulova watches? For one thing, watches are, in a way, little time machines themselves.   2. Back To The Future is CLASSIC movie and one of all my all-time favourite. Ahead of its time, it’s clever, witty and memorable. A journey back in time, creates funny and unique scenes. Doc is great, as is Michael J Fox as Marty McFly. Top it off with a great soundtrack and it’s a winner all the way!! I actually believe it was a first date movie for me all those years ago.

  22. I am a huge fan of The Looney Tunes Show. My favourite time travel story is when Daffy went back in time to stop Bugs Bunny from becoming friends with Rodney. Daffy thought Rodney would take his friend away from him, and was determined to do whatever it took to stop that from happening.

  32. My Favourite time travel movies are Back To The Future. Which is classic in and of itself. But there is one touching one called ABOUT TIME. I don’t want to spoil the movie. But, there is a scene between the main character and his father in the past . That really touches me. Because it reminds me of my dad.

  37. Favorite time travel movie would have to be Terminator. Fell in love with the action as a kid and the story/paradox as I got older. Just saw “Dark Fate” tonight, and I’d say it’s worth going to watch

  40. Back to the Future is without a doubt my favorite time travel movie! It’s a classic and never gets old. I always thought it was so cool that Marty & Doc travelled to different eras in time.

  41. I love Back to the Future, however, one time my older sister wrote a short fiction story for a school project about time travel during the holidays. It ended up printed in the town’s newspaper. Although it’s not a publicly known time travel story, I’d have to say that would be my favourite.
