Had the Beatles started their career in the current decade then one of their signature songs might have a very different title. Similarly, if the Police were releasing their album, “Ghost in the Machine” in 2023, they’d likely be referring to one of the amazing Samsung smart monitors. I’m looking at a monitor as I type this and wishing it was one of the prizes for this contest. Songs should be written about these monitors. In fact, I just asked ChatGPT to write one with me … and this is what we wrote:

The Samsung M5 and M7 monitors we are giving away in this contest are a dream (as far as monitors are concerned). I should ask Canadians to sing the song for a chance to win, but unfortunately, our blog doesn’t allow video or audio entries. Instead, I’ll make entering a little bit easier by asking you to discover Samsung tech and tell us a little about it.

Samsung is creating some amazing tech for our homes

I have a Samsung Television. It’s very old but it still works great and I’m not complaining! However, the new televisions with modern displays, Nobel prize winning Quantum Dots layered on OLED screens, operating systems, gaming features, and solar remote controls tempt me. Oh yes, they tempt me. My fridge is not a Samsung … and it’s dying. Twice this year the freezer portion stopped working overnight and I awoke to a floor covered in berry juice, water, and melted ice cream. The new Samsung Family Hub smart refrigerator with a display on the door connecting to all of my smart home devices tempts me too. Oh yes it tempts me! As a blog editor I get to see all of the new Samsung tech, but you are not so fortunate. Realizing this, I created this contest to encourage you to “Discover Samsung.” I wrote an article about Best Buy’s Discover Samsung event happening in the last week of October: read that article and return here to enter this contest … then dream about winning this contest and becoming an owner of a great new Samsung smart monitor.

How to enter

Entering this contest is easy and you can enter in two different ways.

  1. Visit the Discover Samsung event article, then return here and in a comment below, tell us these three things
    1. which of the two Samsung bundles mentioned in that article is your favourite,
    2. which item in that bundle you wish you owned, and
    3. write an original short poem (that rhymes) about that dream tech. A valid contest entry will have all three of these components.
  2. Social post: For one additional entry, create a public post on a social media channel sharing with your friends and followers that you are entering a Best Buy blog contest for a chance to win a Samsung Smart Monitor. Include the hashtag #SamsungBestBuyContest, so we can find your post, and include any picture from this contest page. Then return here and tell us in a comment below on which channel you posted it and the name of your channel (since many people use pseudonyms) so that we can check and verify your entry. You can use any social media channel (X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Thread, LinkedIn, etc.), but the post must be public so we can verify it is there.

What you can win

At the end of this contest, we will randomly select two (2) eligible entries. Each winner will receive either the Samsung M5 smart monitor or the Samsung M7 smart monitor reviewed on the blog.

This contest runs from Oct 24th to Nov 6th.

  50. I’m out here creating and waiting, for the day I am able to navigate this insanity, to have all the tech that I dream of to bring this digital world into reality. Using the freestyle and, making it my own style…

    The bundle I wish I had would be the Samsung for on the go, I have been looking at the Freestyle portable projector since they hit the shelves! I’d love to own one of these projectors to be able to project my digital art. I’d take it to smaller events and afterparties and have it running! I’d bring my Samsung OLED TV but unfortunately its not as portable. One of these Samsung smart M5 or M7 gaming monitors would be perfect for my studio, I am yet to have a desktop setup! I love how compatible all my Samsung products are 🙂
