Packed with built-in GPS for real-time pace and distance, 20 exercise modes, Cardio fitness level measurements and Active Zone minutes to help reach your optimal intensity level, your Charge 5 will improve your motivation and help you achieve your fitness goals. Plus, when you pair with Fitbit Premium, you get access to hundreds of guided programs, mindfulness tools, and the all-new Daily Readiness Score to optimize your fitness experience.

If overall health and recovery is just as important as your workouts, the Charge 5 has advanced stress-management tools with an on-wrist EDA sensor, high and low heart rate notifications to let you know if your heart rate is above or below your threshold, SpO2 monitoring for measuring your blood oxygen levels and a nightly Sleep Score to help you get better rest. Plus, in a soon-to-be-released software update, Fitbit will also be adding an on-wrist ECG app—a first on any of its trackers.

Do what’s best for your body with Fitbit Charge 5

What you eat, how you sleep, and what type of daily workout you have will make an impact on your entire body. You may not notice the small changes taking place every day, but the Fitbit Charge 5 will. With even more advanced features than before, Charge 5 paired with Premium, helps to connect the dots between your activity and sleep and everything in between to help you create a more complete picture of your overall wellness.

The newest advanced feature to be unlocked with your 6-month included Premium member is Daily Readiness Score. How it works, is that each morning, you’ll get a score in the Fitbit app based on your activity, sleep and heart rate variability. That score indicates if your body is ready to perform an exercise like running, biking, or HIIT training, or if you need to take a recovery day and do some gentle stretching or yoga. And if you’re struggling with stress, standard features like Stress Management Score and mindfulness sessions with the on-wrist EDA sensor can help guide you toward a routine that can help you manage your stress levels.

Monitor your heart health, right on your wrist

Your resting heart rate and how fast your heart beats in the middle of intense exercise is a good indicator of how healthy your heart is. With the Fitbit Charge 5, you’ll be able to monitor your heart right on your wrist with 24/7 heart rate tracking, high & low heart rate notifications and the compatible on-wrist ECG app that assesses your heart for atrial fibrillation (AFib)—a heart rhythm irregularity.

Along with tracking your heart rate variability, the Charge 5 will monitor your SpO2, the level of oxygen in your blood, as well as your skin temperature variation. When you want to check-in and get a picture of your overall heart health, just log in to the Fitbit app and see your detailed history on the Health Metrics dashboard. If you’d like to, you’ll even be able to share that data with your doctor.

See your workout stats on the new colour touchscreen

One of the most noticeable changes on the Fitbit Charge 5 is the ultra-bright colour touchscreen, which brings your real-time exercise stats to life. Plus, it includes the essential convenience features like smartphone and app notifications, silent alarms and up to 7 days of battery life to keep you going day and night without having to stop for frequent charging.

This also makes Charge 5 the perfect companion to track your sleep quality and provide you with a daily Sleep Score so you can improve your sleep and wake up every day refreshed and energized.

Overall, the Fitbit Charge 5 gives you a behind-the-scenes look at your overall health and has all the features you’ve come to love from Fitbit and much more. Paired with a 6-month Premium membership, you’ll be armed with all the tools you need to track your activity, sleep and stress so you can make the best decisions for your body, mind and health.

    • Hi Judith,

Using your smart phone, you can download the Fitbit app from the Apple App Store (for iPhone) or Google Play Store (for Android). Open the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and look for the Fitbit: Health & Fitness app then install the app on your phone.
