I would use this to clean up after my hairy kitty and my giant dog Wally! They are allowed all over the house (carpet and hardwood floor) and definitely leave their mark with all the fur! I would start with the living room first as it is were everyone sits. I would then vacumn the kitchen, livingroom and then the rest of the main level. No bags to buy is a bonus! There is carpet in almost every room of my place and I would LOVE a Dyson to help me keep it clean.
