Living room as it has both carpet and hardwood so no need to change any settings with this Dyson.

I would use my new Dyson to vacuum the front entry way. I currently have a corded vacuum that has to be plugged into the stove and the cord has to go across the kitchen in order to vacuum the entry way. I love Dyson products!
