My father’s been gardening and although the tomatoes aren’t quite ready yet, how about some tomato juice? Chop up some ripe tomatoes and celery, and add some honey, salt and black pepper and blend until smooth and serve!

My dad loves to make us smoothies in the summer! His go-to is strawberry banana with yogurt, milk and maple syrup but I think it would be fun for him to experiment with tropical flavours, maybe pineapple mango with coconut milk? This gourmet blender would be perfect for that. 🙂

My parents have an awesome vegetable garden, and Dad loves to proudly serve culinary creations from it—particularly PIES I can see him creating pie fillings with his harvested rhubarb, strawberries, raspberries, and black currants. (I can also see the mess left on the counter from the pastry, and him swearing under his breath when he’s over handled the dough! LOL!)
