Calling a Blendtec Blender a “blender” is somewhat of a misnomer. While it’s true that it can blend and puree like nobody’s business, it can also knead dough, make ice cream, juice whole fruits, and even grind meat and coffee beans to perfection, which is all pretty impressive for one machine. But wait, there’s more! The Blendtec Designer Series can also turn whole vegetables into warm soup in minutes.  That’s right. Prepare your favourite healthy soup recipes right in a blender.

How is that possible? Widely regarded as one of the best blenders on the market, the Blendtec Designer Series blenders are equipped with a commercial-quality, 1,560-watt, 3 HP (Peak Horsepower) direct drive motor and a 2-prong steel blade that spins at up to 29,000 rpm, or more than 450 kilometers an hour. As you can imagine, that speed creates a natural friction – a friction that causes ingredients to reach temperatures in excess of 110 degrees Fahrenheit.

All you need to do is add your ingredients into the 2-quart blender jar and hit the “Soup” button – Blendtec does the rest. Your days of chopping, dicing, and mincing are over! And because Blendtec pulverizes vegetables as opposed to cooking them down, they retain all their vitamins, nutrients and enzymes, making your soups even healthier than before. Plus, for the most part, healthy soups are filling while also being low in calories, which is perfect for those New Year’s weight loss resolutions!

Ready to get started? Here are a few simple, yet delicious healthy soup recipes for your Blendtec blender:
