Fujifilm Instant Cameras make a perfect last-minute-gift

The Fujifilm instant cameras are low in cost, easy to use, and deliver instantly shareable photos, making them a popular choice for gifting. For example, my editor put an Instax photo of a shared memory in each Christmas card he mailed out to family this year. And he says he stuck tiny magnets on the backs and covered his fridge with photos of family and friends to make them feel near during this year of isolation. What wonderful ideas will you have for displaying and sharing your photos if you win?

  1. If I were to win, I’d display and share the photos that I take of my friends, family, and nature in many creative ways! One of the ideas I have in mind is to take pictures of beautiful aspects of my neighbourhood and display them on my window for my neighbours passing by to enjoy.

  2. It would be lots of fun to have a Fujifilm Instant Camera for taking pictures of my kids and animals and sticking the pictures up on the kitchen fridge.

  3. I always take my Polaroid with my everywhere. So if I won, I would take it on all of my adventures, especially on vacations!

  4. Many years ago, I traveled to Thailand without having spoke a word of their language. It was a very sudden trip to visit a relative living there, so I had little time to understand the culture. During the long flight I did as much culture research as I could to be prepared.
One of the notes that stood out to me was that for the most part, Native people felt that tourists were constantly taking their pictures and that in many ways they felt as though they were zoo animals being observed. This got me thinking that it’s true… in north America, we don’t get tourists constantly taking pictures of us.
One of the things that I had luckily brought with me was an instant camera. This was the perfect way to communicate with a new culture. What I ended up doing was taking two pictures. The first one I would give to the person I was photographing and we would wait a moment till it would expose. Once they realized what I saw and gave it to them, they were all smiles and grateful that I had just taken from them and that I was sharing my experiences with them.
That’s when they would open up and let me take another that I could take with me.

These were some of the most memorable pictures I ever took.

This was over 18 years ago, and I bet they still have those photographs. Since then, my old instant camera has been lost in my moves, and getting a new one has been on my wishlist!

Crossing fingers that I can win one and continue sharing with other cultures.

  5. I’d make great use of this camera! We always do group SELFIES when we have any kind of dinner &/or celebration. So lots of great SELFIES coming up!!

  6. If I won a Fujifilm camera, I would make a collage with all my favorite photos and frame them. I would hang this in my bedroom. That way I can be reminded daily of all my favorite people.

  7. we like to put photos in small festive frames and hang them on the Christmas tree. we have photos of all our kids and grandkids (as well as the dogs we have loved) through the years on the tree so it is a lot of fun decorating each year and seeing all the photos once again

  8. I sincerely miss our old Polaroid camera. This one would be an perfect and amazing replacement. My daughter has found a great interest in photography and is a wonderful artist. These photos would become part of her art, covering the walls in her bedroom.

  9. I would take pics of my bee frame eggs as they hatched and then give them to our bee club for a fall fair display

  10. I would have my youngest daughter take all of the photos and then we would do a scavenger style hunt after printing them off. She loves taking pictures and having me guess what they’re of!

  11. I’d love this for our upcoming wedding. We have a plan to use the photos lined up along string from all our guests and they sign the backs!
