If you’re a fan of Citizen watches, you may be excited by today’s announcement. As it turns out, select Best Buy stores will soon be carrying a few of Citizen’s most exciting models. The selection will vary by location and feature a variety of different watch models, including popular analog pieces, and even some Citizen smart watches. If you’d like to know more about what Citizen watches you might find in a Best Buy store near you (see the complete list of stores at the end of this article), I’ve got a couple of smart watch ideas for you right here in today’s announcement. Citizen watches offer exceptional quality

Citizen watches have long been regarded for their exceptional quality and value. This applies to their style and aesthetics, Citizen’s choice of materials used, the overall build quality of the watches, and, perhaps most importantly of all, design innovation (for instance, Citizen’s Eco-Drive technology).

More recently, Citizen has ventured into the world of smart wrist watches, which bring wearable tech to a whole new level of usability. With features like Bluetooth connectivity, a variety of fitness tracking applications, and even built-in heart rate monitors, today’s smart watches are much more than just fashionable wrist candy. And Citizen smart watches are certainly no exception, as we will see from the following examples.

Citizen CZ Smart Hybrid

One such model is the Citizen CZ Smart Hybrid, which comes in multiple colour options and has everything one would expect in a modern smart watch. For instance, it tracks a variety of different fitness activities—everything from your daily step count to your calories burned. Other areas it tracks include your sleep quality, your distance travelled, your heart rate while exercising, and it even has elevation tracking to help you track and meet all your fitness goals whether you’re running the beach at sea level or hiking up in the mountains. In the non-fitness realm, it provides a ton of notifications, including ones for e-mails received, incoming text messages, and calendar alerts. All of that, and it even tells the time!

Also available is the Citizen CZ Smart 46mm Smartwatch w/ Heart Rate Monitor, which has all the same functionality as the CZ 44, and then some. This includes the Wear OS smart watch operating system by Google, as well as compatibility with both Android and iOS smart devices.

Additional features of the CZ 46 include a number of preloaded apps. These include Google Fit, the Google Assistant, the Google Play Store, alarms, agendas, and calendars, as well as your contacts list, a built-in stopwatch, Spotify, Strava, and more. It can even translate foreign languages and dial your phone for you. How amazing is that??


As you can see, Citizen has gone well beyond ordinary wrist watches in recent years, and now that some of their coolest models are coming to select Best Buy stores, we get to see them in person before deciding whether to buy. While not every Best Buy location will be carrying these Citizen watches, you can always find the full selection of models online at BestBuy.ca!
