A Premium TV from one of the top television manufacturers like Sony, Samsung, and LG takes home entertainment to a whole new level. Each brand has their own spectacular technologies to bring out the best from the movies, TV shows, and sports that you love to watch. You can find a huge selection of these televisions right now online at Bestbuy.ca. Also, read carefully below then enter this amazing contest: three Canadians will win an amazing Premium television!
Premium TVs begin with outstanding new technology
I get this question quite frequently on the blog and on social media, “I want to buy a new TV; can you tell me which TV should I get?” My answer is to figure out your budget and space considerations for the room where it will be placed, then get the most future friendly TV with the largest screen that will fit in your home that you can afford. Future friendly means best technology available. And this year is a banner year for new technology in televisions.
I am planning on getting a new set for my home one day. I have a budget in mind and a TV size in mind (65 inch). I haven’t decided which brand to purchase yet because they are all so tempting! Each of the top manufactures has released new televisions with outstanding new technologies that make the colours more vibrant, details clearer, and the overall entertainment experience much better.
Do your research and plan for your next TV
Buying a television does require doing a bit of research. This contest will help you do that so you will know which future friendly Premium TV will be right for your home. There are three television prizes, one from each of the major TV manufacturers, Samsung, Sony, and LG, as shown here.
These are all premium prizes, so you must do a bit of work before you enter to win one of them. Since each of these brands provided a prize for this contest, you’ll be allowed to enter once per brand. Read the directions below carefully.
How to enter
Entering this contest is easy and you can enter once for each brand that provided a prize to this contest for a total of three unique entries: one entry about Sony, one about Samsung, and one about LG. For each entry, in a comment below, tell us
a) which new technology by that brand has you most excited about their Premium TVs this year. You can go to these articles for information about the new technology from each brand.
b) which model by that brand on the Best Buy website is your favourite (you must be precise: saying something like “any model” is not a valid response).
What you can win
At the end of the contest, we will randomly select three winners from all eligible entries to receive one of the three televisions shown above.
This contest runs from June 1st to June 15th.
Remember you can enter once for each brand of television offered as a prize in this contest. However, you must know lots of people who would be thrilled for a chance to win one of these televisions. Share this contest with them and tell them to read the instructions carefully so each of their entries is valid and gives them a chance to win.

Good Luck.
The best feature about the LG would be the colour enhancement from the Nano Cell technology. If I could choose, I would most want the LG NanoCell 75″ 8K UHD HDR LED webOS Smart TV (75SM9970PUA).
For the Sony, I would be most interested in the XBR85X950H 85′ model, but I am more than happy with a 65″. The features I like most are the Triluminos display and the Android Smart Hub.
For Samsung it would be the 8k quantum processor and it’s ability to adjust sound and brightness to the environment. I would be most interested in the 75″ QN75LS03TAFXZC model, but I wouldn’t complain about a 65″
Serait cool

For the Samsung TV’s…
a.) the 8K Quantum Processor’s ability to optimize sound for scenes and adjust brightness according to the room sounds very interesting, in addition to how it is designed to be a decorative piece in the home (rather than a black box).

The Tv I like the most is the Samsung 75” 4K uhd hdr Qled Tizen smart Tv (Qn75q8dtafxzc)
M’y first choice is a Samsung TV, 65 inches, 4K, a smart TV. I think that Samsung is a brand of good quality.
My second choice will be a Sony TV, smart TV, 4K, 65 inch’s, because it is like Samsung a brand of good quality.
My last choice will be an LG TV like Sony and Samsung, but I think a quality of the product is less than the others brands.
a) I love the new Triluminos Display technology on the Sony tvs
b) My favourite is the Sony 65″ 4K UHD HDR LED Android Smart TV (XBR65X950H)
Sony premium 64” uhd hdr led Android smart TV (xbr65x95oh) ty

b) Sony 65″ 4K UHD HDR LED Android Smart TV
Samsung Q70/Q70R QLED is my choice given all the gaming features. It supports FreeSync variable refresh rate technology to match the screen’s refresh rate to that of your game. It can go as high as 120Hz and as low as 20Hz. It also has an incredibly low input lag, responding to your actions quickly, and it has a great response time, resulting in clear motion. Plus, there’s a black frame insertion feature to reduce any motion blur.
a) For Sony I am most excited about the Google assistant! Google rules my world.
my
b) Samsung has always been my favorite brand
Samsung:
A) Aside from the ability to easily outperform my existing non-4k television, what I love about the new Samsung premium televisions for 2020 is the Samsung 8K Quantum Processor. My family watches television in a dimly lit basement room. With the lights on, sometimes, the scenes are too dim. With the lights off, the television can be too bright. It seems like the new 8K Quantum Processor takes the guesswork out of the viewing experience. Coupled with the fact that it optimizes the sound for each scene, I can confidently say that that is my favourite feature of the new Samsung premium televisions.
B) I would be dishonest to say that I wouldn’t do back flips (maybe literally, may not on second thought), if I were to have a Samsung 98″ 8K UHD HDR QLED Tizen Smart TV (QN98Q900RBFXZC) show up at my doorstep. 98″ of pure television bliss. It is the gold standard,….scratch that,…it is the platinum standard of Samsung televisions. However, given my budget/income and room size that it would be going in, a much more realistic option would be the Samsung 75″ 4K UHD HDR QLED Tizen Smart TV (QN75Q70TAFXZC).
A) I’m super excited about the avancement of LG tv in the area of gaming. I would love to experience NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility to the 2020 OLED.
B) I would choose LG NanoCell 65″ 4K UHD HDR LED webOS Smart TV
A) Wow I am so excited for the design of the Samsung TV. I love that they are trying to include the tv as part of your decor.
B) I would love this beautiful Samsung tv: Samsung The Frame 55″ 4K UHD HDR QLED Tizen Smart TV
B) I would love the Sony BRAVIA OLED A8H 4K HDR TV.
A) I am most excited about Sony’s acoustic surface audio.
I’d love to test drive the a9 Gen 3 processor 8K 4-step noise reduction feature in the LG 65″ UHD HDR LED webOS Smart TV.
SONY:
A) As a gamer, the TRILUMINOS Display with Super Bit Mapping sounds fantastic. I loathe seeing washed out colours. Having said that, however, I also like the sounds of the Picture Processor X1 Ultimate. The ability to have my lowly non-pro PS4 displayed in near-4K HDR sounds nothing short of delightful.
B) If I was able to choose ANY model of Sony premium televsion from Best Buy Canada, I would choose the Sony 85″ 8K UHD HDR LED Android Smart TV (XBR85Z9G). It is not even a question. An 85″ 8K television would be spectacular. Easy to see, awesome picture quality and DEFINITELY it would be future-proof. However, it is well outside my budget and I would need to really give the best speech ever to my loving wife to justify getting an 85″ television.
Love the Audio Scene Intelligence feature in the Samsung 65″ 4K UHD HDR QED Tizen Smart TV.
Samsung QLED technology
a- LG’s NanoCell technology improving colour and wider angle
b-LG NanoCell 65″ 4K UHD HDR LED webOS Smart TV (65NANO86UNA)

The LG television has an awesome picture and uses some of the latest cutting edge tech to deliver this!
LG NanoCell 65″ 4K UHD HDR LED webOS Smart TV (65NANO86UNA)
I think the Samsung The Frame 55″ 4K UHD HDR QLED Tizen Smart TV (QN55LS03TAFXZC) – Charcoal Black is pretty cool.
Honestly all the tech upgrades aside I love how it’s like a giant picture frame. You can have this up above your fire place, and put a stream of photos on it when not in use for TV, movies, or gaming. I think it’s just a great IDea so that it doesn’t look like the TV is the focal point of the living room, but a big picture frame instead
a) Sony – Excited about the TRILUMINOS DISPLY colour technology which gives real world detail
Samsung – Excited about the 8K resolution which gives viewing a more real life experience
LG – Excited about the ultra slim 65″ model which is a mere 20 millimeters thin and would be easy to mount
b) Sony BRAVIA 65″ 4k UHD OLED Android Smart TV (XBR65A8H) because of the vibrant, dynamic images and rich colour
Samsung – 65″ 8K UHD QLED TIZEN SMART TV (QN65Q800TAFXZC) -Titan Black Excited about the 65″ display with 3.3 million pixels and 8K UHD this would be great for streaming and watching my favourite shows and movies
LG – NanoCell 65″ 4K UHD LED webOS SMART TV SMART TV (65NANO90UNA) I like the 65″ size and the 8.3 million pixels which will make for a great visual experience
My pick for Sony would be the 65″ UHD HDR LED Android Smart TV with Triluminos technology. I would be excited to see the viivd, precise and natural colors, comapred to my 15 year old TV!
a) Samsung QLED technology
b) my pick Samsung 75″ 4K UHD HDR QLED Tizen Smart TV (QN75Q7DRAFXZC)
With having to stay at home due to covid 19 the “Sony 98” 8k UHD HDR LED Android Smart TV (XBR98Z9G) “ would make for one amazing home entertainment system. With the sheer size and 8K technology it would make not being able to go to the theatre no big deal. Just gotta add a pop corn machine 😀
The new technology I am most excited about on the LG television is the 65 inch LCD Display with 3840 x 2160 resolution delivering stunning visuals on a large screen.
The model that is my favourite is the LG Nano Cell 65 inch 4K UHD HDR LED web os Smart TV. 65NANO86UNA
Great TVs
Regarding the new Sony TV’s, i think the TRILUMINOS Display is a great feature, how colors come through is a really important factor when choosing a tv. After looking at multiple tv’s i love all the aspects of the Sony 75″ 4K UHD HDR LED Android Smart TV!
LG OLED TV with NVIDIA G-SYNC sounds great. The LG NanoCell TVs support Dolby Vision IQ . That is a great feature.
Sony’s X-Motion Clarity technology is something I’d like to see in action as someone he likes to game and watch sports, it would be awesome to reduce or eliminate the amount of motion blur there normally is. The 85″ 8K (XBR85Z9G) model looks nicest to me.
A.Samsung’s The Serif with QLED technology B. It is a great new innovative system with AI making it a very smart system.
LG
a) The NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility would make my daughter so happy! She is a gamer and is always complaining about the quality of the TV we currently have.
b) I would pick the LG NanoCell 75″ 4K UHD HDR LED webOS Smart TV Smart TV (75NANO90UNA)
