Premium TVs begin with outstanding new technology

I get this question quite frequently on the blog and on social media, “I want to buy a new TV; can you tell me which TV should I get?” My answer is to figure out your budget and space considerations for the room where it will be placed, then get the most future friendly TV with the largest screen that will fit in your home that you can afford. Future friendly means best technology available. And this year is a banner year for new technology in televisions.

I am planning on getting a new set for my home one day. I have a budget in mind and a TV size in mind (65 inch). I haven’t decided which brand to purchase yet because they are all so tempting! Each of the top manufactures has released new televisions with outstanding new technologies that make the colours more vibrant, details clearer, and the overall entertainment experience much better.

Do your research and plan for your next TV

Buying a television does require doing a bit of research. This contest will help you do that so you will know which future friendly Premium TV will be right for your home. There are three television prizes, one from each of the major TV manufacturers, Samsung, Sony, and LG, as shown here.

  3. Samsung’s upscaling AI is what I’m most interested in as it would be cool to see how well most lower resolution content today can be upscaled to higher resolution. Samsung’s Stainless Steel 85″ 8K (QN85Q950TSFXZC) looks really sharp to me, especially with the thin bezel and wall mount capability.

    My first choice would be the Samsung 55 QN55Q80RAFXZC with the 4k quantum processor. It would be a perfect fit for my home.
    LG does not interest me but would take any 55in tv if free!!!

I’m sure the Quantum Dot technology, Supreme UHD Dimming and Mega Contrast Ratio would definitly WOW them. I neved used the Tizen OS before and I’m very curiuous of it’s capabilities. With HDMI 2.1 ports, bandwith will never be a problem.

  27. I always loved LG webOS for it’s simplicity of use, especially with the Magic Remote. Now with built-in Google Assistant, i really want to upgrade my old LG TV to integrate it with my other intelligent home devices. With Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, my movies will look as good as the director decided. This new LG NanoCell should be fantastic too!

The look for it is a lot better and I wear glasses so I love that part also the multi app choices every TV should have that built in and makes it a lot more accessible because of what’s in right now and as well as the Alexa built-in is my favourite picture I’m really excited to say that part I think that it’s really handy I’ve seen people using their social media and it just looks fine at first he never tried it but I would like to as well as the Bluetooth feature that’s amazing useful quite useful every TV should have some kind of Bluetooth attachments so what basically overall it’s just a really great TV from the reviews so thumbs up.

    I never really too excited for LG features mom but I will save for the fact that it is a webos smart TV is great and crystal-clear feature where is always appreciated as well as the built-in apps and built-in remote every TV should have a more accessible way of on voice command if you cannot find a remote sometimes it can be annoying so these features is good although I know about LG phones are great brand as well I’m not too sure about TVs but as well as the reviews looks good from what I see probably my last pic k

I’m interested in the Gallery Series because a TV that looks good when it isn’t on is just as important to me as one when it is on. On that note, I’d go for the LG NanoCell 65″ 4K UHD HDR LED webOS Smart TV but I’d have it wall-mounted for extra snazz.

  40. I’m most keen on the Acoustic Surface Audio because how a movie sounds is really important to me in adding that atmosphere of realism, especially when Transformers are crushing each other in a midtown Manhattan street fight.
