Premium TVs begin with outstanding new technology

I get this question quite frequently on the blog and on social media, “I want to buy a new TV; can you tell me which TV should I get?” My answer is to figure out your budget and space considerations for the room where it will be placed, then get the most future friendly TV with the largest screen that will fit in your home that you can afford. Future friendly means best technology available. And this year is a banner year for new technology in televisions.

I am planning on getting a new set for my home one day. I have a budget in mind and a TV size in mind (65 inch). I haven’t decided which brand to purchase yet because they are all so tempting! Each of the top manufactures has released new televisions with outstanding new technologies that make the colours more vibrant, details clearer, and the overall entertainment experience much better.

Do your research and plan for your next TV

Buying a television does require doing a bit of research. This contest will help you do that so you will know which future friendly Premium TV will be right for your home. There are three television prizes, one from each of the major TV manufacturers, Samsung, Sony, and LG, as shown here.

  13. On the Sony TVs I like The Pixel Contrast Booster for a sharper picture. My Sony favourite model is the Sony 65″ 4K UHD HDR OLED Android Smart TV (XBR65A8G) for it’s insane picture quality.

  29. a) The Sony Acoustic Surface Audio is probably the most exciting technology. Finally decent audio on a TV, perfect for wall mount.

    b) My favorite model would be the XBR65A8H. OLED and Android. Perfect size.

  30. It’s more likely that I would get a LG NanoCell TV (that supports Dolby Vision IQ), than getting one of their OLEDs.

    With that said I still prefer their OLED77GXPUA.

The multi dimension surround soundscape from the Dolby Atmos sounds (no pun intended) pretty epic. I’m always looking for an immersive experience!
