Star Wars toys keep getting better with each new movie. Two years ago, when “The Force Awakens” introduced the cute droid BB-8, Sphero introduced their incredibly accurate working version of the droid. Star Wars toys are an integral aspect of the experience: many of us grew up playing with them. So with a new movie arriving this year, Best Buy will help ensure this tradition continues by giving away almost $4000 worth of Star Wars toys in this contest! Star Wars toys are not just for kids

Star Wars toys were always the coolest thing around. When we were kids they were cool, and nothing has change: kids today still love them. Interestingly, adults still love them too. They are not just for collectors either. I’ve met many adults who either still have Star Wars toys from when they were a kid, or ones they’ve acquired more recently.

I have a shiny silver Millennium Falcon that I think is great. It sits next to my computer at Best Buy’s head office. I used to have this massive tie fighter (shown in the image on the right) at my desk too. Unfortunately, our office was recently rearranged and it had to be moved. If I was to choose one of the newest toys as a replacement it would definitely be the Propel Speeder Bike Drone shown in the image at the top.

    Why? I know that Sphero is very interactive, and my whole family would love to enjoy playing with R2-D2. Also I just love the R2-D2 character, my favorite droid.

  4. It’s hard to say which one is my favourite, Star Wars is definitely out of this world for me, but out of the prizes I would say BB-9E, that little droid is the best, there’s something about it, the colour of it and the fact that I can control it, uuuhhhh it would be a whole lot of fun!

  8. It is hard to choose, but I’ll say the Lenovo Star Wars: Jedi Challenges VR Headset with Saber & Beacon because Jedi’s are the best! And VR is amazing, so what better way to use it than train like a Jedi?

Sphero Star Wars R2-D2 App-Enabled Droid (R201FCA) – White/Blue Is my favourite as I am an “old school” Star Wars fan —- I fell in “luv” with R2D2 when I was a chil (I’m 50 now) and R2D2 is my “go to” Star Wars representative items always as he is just the cutest iconic droid ( yes BB8 is cute , too) but as I said, I’m old school. Thank you for the great toys, this fun contest and Lucas/Star Wqrs for generations of great films, stories and inspiring ions of fans!

  11. Either one of the smart watchs would be my favorite. My kids love starwars. (Who doesnt) One is learning to tell time and the other is starting to go to the park alone with friends.   22. The Lenovo Star Wars: Jedi Challenges has to be the coolest thing that is coming out this year and it would be great to experience with my 9 year old! He’s becoming a huge fan of the series and surely this would cement a solid future :). We look forward to trying it out at a Best Buy near us this fall/winter.

  23. Well it has to be the Lenovo: Jedi Challenges VR! When I was in Disneyworld, kids got a chance to go to Jedi training school and then get on stage to fight Kylo Ren and Darth Vadar! I was extremely jealous and wanted to shrink so I could join in! Now it seems like I can!! Ohh and my boyfriend would love me forever if I won all of these prizes!

  26. I’ve gotta go with Prize Pack A (so don’t tell my watch-addicted husband about pack B). Our 1 year old twins are yet to learn the force but we feel it is strong with these two… look away from the other entries, they are not the ones you are looking for.

  31. My favourite is the Tie fighter drone. I was at the Best Buy drone event earlier this year where they were being show cased for the first time in Canada, they were a blast to watch. I wish I had had the money to buy one then. I’ve been saving up my pennies ever since. I love how they are interactive with each other, ( being able to dog fight with them), is a very cool feature on such a small drone.

  33. For it it would be the Propel Star Wars X-Wing Battling Quadcopter Drone. I already fly drones so to be able to fly an Xwing fighter would be awesome.

  34. All the prizes are amazing! If I had to choose one, I would love to have the UB STORMTROOPER – why? My two boys 1.5 and 3.5 years, would really love interacting with this toy. This is the toy that I could really ave some fun with my boys playin with! They both love Star Wars, I may have had some influence! 🙂

  37. To me the Sphero collection of app enabled droids, specifically the BB8 in the prize B list. BB8 is my favourite new character from the recent Star Wars Trilogy and fits in perfectly as a sidekick to Rey in The Force Awakens and soon to be released The Last Jedi! What better way to bring some Star Wars magic into our lives then by using the technology right in our pockets – like a smartphone – to bring this toy to life.

  39. It has to be the Lenovo Star Wars: Jedi Challenges for me. This cool toy allows to train like Luke Skywalker did in New Hope, while they were on the Falcon on the way to where Alderan once stood. Which for me would be a boy hood fantasy come true

  41. My favourite prize would have to be the “Sphero Star Wars R2-D2 App-Enabled Droid.” Ever since I was a kid, I adored R2-D2, and always thought it would be cool to own a droid of my own. To have a toy version that can actually move around like its movie counterpart would be a dream come true!

  47. Definitely the Sphero BB-8: BB-8 is such an adorable droid character and having a little replica of him rolling around would feel like a small piece of Star Wars had come to life. Close second would be the Lenovo Jedi Challenges, though: I love VR games and hope more Star Wars ones get produced!

    I love everything about starwars. Always loved R2-D2 ans 3CPO. I did not think it was possible to make a better droid. Then BB-8 was ‘born’ and i fell hard for the orange and white. I am a mom of 3 girls. And not afraid to get my geek on! I would love to turn my house into starwars heaven for my geeky daughters and myself. Oh and if my hubby behaves he can also play with my toys. May the force be with you!

  49. My favourite from the list is Star Wars BB-8 interactive droid. BB-8 is a newer version of R2D2. Star Wars droids are the best.

  50. This past year I had the great honor to meet Jimmy V…..R2D2 has always been my favorite but meeting the man that makes him come alive was beyond amazing. Owning an R2 app enabled droid of my hero would just top off the most fantastic year.
