LG has created a new premium phone, the G8x, that raises the bar for what a smartphone can be. It has two screens: the one that accompanies the regular phone and another screen in its case: click the phone in the case and suddenly your phone becomes a multi-tasking wonder machine. Additionally, it has one feature that most of us hated to lose on other new premium phones: a headphone jack! You may be wondering how much use you would get out of two screens on a phone. Personally, I think it’s life changing. Face it: we look at phones more than we look at our partners. You can have the game on one screen and the controller can be on the other. The possibilities are ENDLESS!

  6. I would be playing a game on one side, while watching a movie on the other! Something has to keep me awake during the night shift lol!

  12. I would use the two screens for multitasking, on one I would check my messages or emails and would work on the other screen answering emails or do other tasks.

  25. Huh.. hard to say what I’d use it for without having tried it, but I guess being able to respond to texts without having to pause and tab out of youtube would be nice.

  27. I work with my aunt who lives in New Zealand on our family tree in Ancestry.ca. This would give me a chance to skype with her and work the app at the same time. This would be huge for me!

  29. Whatever I’m doing on my main screen, I always end up opening other one (or four) to check my calendar, contacts, answer a text, etc. Two screens just makes sense!

  32. Love this idea, I am constantly using two devices at the same time to watch something and message or check social media with the other. I am in desperate need of a phone upgrade, as mine is almost 4 years old now. It does not seem that old to me but phones do not have a huge life span these days. I love the ease of having 2 screens for the number of data sources. Having the second screen to display content means less moving windows around to access the information that you need.

  50. I would be so happy if I was to win this phone I still have a flip phone. Just cannot afford another right now. If i had dual screens I would play my farm game and watch a video at the same time!!! Or I would facetime my bestfriend that lives far away while I am on Facebook!!
