Experience a smarter home

Given how hectic our everyday lives can be, we could all probably do with a few more conveniences at home. Smart home technology is doing exactly that by helping Canadians live more comfortably and with greater peace of mind. Experience the comfort and convenience for yourself inside Best Buy’s custom-built smart home at this year’s National Home Show. The event runs from March 9th to 18th at the Enercare Centre in Exhibition Place in Toronto.

Smart home technology is ready to transform your home. At the show, you will discover how smart home devices can make your life easier, simpler, and more relaxing. Come see the latest in smart lighting, appliances, thermostats, and cameras from vendors like Google, LG, Sony, and Nest. You can also check out how to seamlessly connect and control everything by simply talking to the Google Assistant on Google Home. It’s amazing how much convenience and comfort Google Home can bring to your living space.

At the Home Show, all the smart home devices will be installed in a home-like setting so you can see first-hand their innovative features in a natural setting. Who knows, you might even get inspired thinking about how these products could benefit life in your own home. For those outside the Greater Toronto Area, can you view a wide range of smart home products in Best Buy stores and online at Bestbuy.ca.

While at the show you will also find exclusive on-site only offers on Google Home Mini and Nest Smart Thermostats.

What to expect inside the Best Buy smart home

For the second year in a row, I’ll be visiting the Best Buy smart home at this year’s National Home Show. I couldn’t be more excited to once again check out the latest smart devices integrated into a home-like setting. You can read last year’s article and see what that event was like: watch a few videos I made, and you will get a sense of what this year’s  experience will be like.

Best Buy National Home ShowAs you can see, the Best Buy smart home isn’t a typical showroom booth with shiny new products locked away behind glass displays. It’s an immersive, natural home setting where you can touch and tinker around with actual smart home products. Representatives will be available to explain the products in more details, and give you live demonstrations. You’ll get a good understanding of which smart home products could benefit you and your family the most. You’ll also learn just how simple it is to add convenience, comfort, and safety into your home life.

I’ll visit the show when it starts so that I can post photos and video here soon after. Be sure to visit the Best Buy blog during the show dates to read about my impressions, and see photos and video. I can’t wait to share my experience with all of you!

  1. I’d like to check out devices that are compatible with the Google Home, smart lights and home security.

  2. I have the Google Home mini, so I’d like more devices that are compatible. Nest looks great, maybe the home security,

  3. I like that Google Home offers services that I want right now (e.g., music streaming and smart home device linkup). What I’m really excited is where Google will take this technology.
