Could your home use another security camera? Perhaps you don’t have any yet, so then the answer might definitely be YES! Even if you have a few, could you find a place to put another one? Enter this contest and you might win a fantastic new smart home camera from ezviz. Your home would then be on its way to becoming more secure in minutes.

How many cameras do you want around your home? My answer to this question is probably 6—and I am half-way there. I have one on my carport looking down the driveway, one by my front door and one by my back door. But that is not enough for me. I’d like one so I can see my garden shed, and one overlooking my vegetable stand. Both of these are not visible from my home so cameras would ensure that I can keep an eye on them no matter if I am home, or at work or wherever.

I also don’t have any inside my home; my wife is not too keen on cameras in the house. There are many good reasons to have one in the house (for example, to watch the pets when you’re not home) but she prefers to keep the cameras outside. I think her “no cameras in the house” outlook might change if I bought the Samsung Family Hub refrigerator with its 3 cameras inside so you can see the food without opening the door, and see what’s missing while shopping. Of course that is a whole different type of camera—extremely cool though! 1. I have a condo, so I would only need about 4. One outside the main door and a few in the main living area.

  2. I would like 4. 1 for the front door. 2 for the garage, one facing down the driveway and one at the back facing the yard.
1 for the back door. We get bears in our yard so I would love to watch what they are doing

  3. I’m in a low-rise condo and would love 1 to monitor the entrance as well as 1 to monitor the living room and balcony entrance.

  4. I’d like 4 cameras – front and side doors, deck, and one inside so I can see when my teenagers are sneaking in late

  5. I would love at least 6 cameras, but if I had more I would surely find places to put them.
3 to watch the front of the home (2 for closer range and one to overlook the front area and the lower cameras)
    2 for the back door
1 for inside the home and see what the pets are up to while I am away

  6. Hard to say, I’m sure I could find a spot for 10, but 6 would probably do the job! I’d use them to keep an eye on the house when I’m out of town for the weekend.

  7. I would love 6 as we live in a rural area with some unsavoury people living across from us and we are concerned for our property and safety. We have sheds that I would love to monitor as well as my house. Thanks for the chance.

  8. I would think a minimum of 5 cameras – one each for front door, side door, back door, garage and one to watch the birds nests.

  9. 6 should do it. We live in a rural area and it would be a great security feature to have at all entrances to our home. It also could capture some pretty interesting wildlife that we would not normally have the opportunity to see!

  10. I would like to have 7 security cameras around my home, one for each entrance to the house….I have 3 entrances in the front and I would like at least one camera down each side of the house , as well as 2 entrances at the back of the house

  11. A minimum of six cameras would work at my place (eight or ten would be preferable depending on their position). I would like at least three for the front (one on the house, two on the garage) with the same number on the back (two on the house and one on the garage). I have a large rural yard so it would be great to have a few more positioned on the garden area to monitor vegetable predators (two legged and four legged) to know their habits and be able to accommodate a deterrent system.

  12. All I need is one camera focused on my beer fridge in the garage. Then I’d know who’s been rustling my cold ones. My friends know the lock on the garage back door is busted, so the party’s on when I’m not home. Maybe a second camera inside the fridge for a culprit close-up. A third camera for the driveway showing getaway vehicle would be nice. And I’d like to know who’s been sleeping in my car while it’s in the garage overnight, I’ll point another camera there. Come to think of it, I should just replace that busted lock on the back door!

  13. Can anyone tell me how to remove the photo showing as my avatar? I did not ad that and do not know where it came from.

  14. I would want at least 3 cameras. 1 for the back lane/yard, one for the front of the house and one 360 inside

  15. I would need 6-7 security cameras around my house; one at the front door, one angled at the garage entry/door, one at the back patio door, another at the backyard gate, one with a scope of the alley (in the backyard) and one for the street in front of the house. I have been having issues with vandalism around my house (due to the Calgary municipal election) and destruction of my personal property. This would have been perfect this last week…

  16. Three cameras for my home, front and back entrance and the third in the kitchen to watch what my dog and cat are up to… one of them likes to do their business on the floor but I still can’t point the finger at which one it was!

  17. Moving out on my own for the first time and it’ll be in a completely different province than the rest of my family so 3 security cameras would be ideal, one for my entry way of my apartment and one for the balcony, the third would be placed in my office to keep an eye on my dog while I’m at school 😉 but I’d be okay with two cameras ^_^

  18. I would use 4-5 outside and 4-5 inside, depending on the coverage of each. Outside I would like to cover two entry/exit doors on different walls, a third wall that are windows all across and our garage entrance and inside the garage.

  19. I would like to have at least 5 cameras. Our home is on a funny angle to the street, so I’d need 3 for the back yard to get to all the hidden corners, 1 for the front yard and maybe one inside the house too to keep an eye on the dog! Cameras are so great and easy to install and affordable now, thanks for the great giveaway.

  20. I’d like to have at least 3 outside cameras, one in the front and two in the back. It would be a great way to deter potential thieves

  21. I would like to have at least 4 outside cameras to monitor activity around the yard. We live in a rural area and break-ins are a common occurrence although we have been fortunate so far!

  22. I need 6 cameras! Two cameras to cover the inside of the entry way. Two cameras to cover the outside of the entries. One camera covering my driveway and one camera covering my back deck from the outside. There have actually been several break-ins around my area and this would provide a great level of comfort. Thanks.

  23. At a minimum I would like four security cameras. Two inside the home and two outside as I’ve recently had a break in and we live in a complex of townhouses that are supposed to be security monitored. Three years ago I was told security cameras would be installed to cover our area. Since then I’ve had garden tools and snow shovels stolen from the back yard and the front door broken in to.

  24. I would like 4 cameras so I can monitor around my house. We live next to a forest and sometimes get animals venturing around our property.

  25. Five cameras, for the front door, the driveway, the blind side of the house, the entrance to the back yard and the back yard itself.

  26. I need one for the front of my house. Another for the side. One for the deck. One for the shed area. I also need 1 for inside my house. So probably 5 in total.
