Could your home use another security camera? Perhaps you don’t have any yet, so then the answer might definitely be YES! Even if you have a few, could you find a place to put another one? How many cameras do you want around your home? My answer to this question is probably 6—and I am half-way there. I have one on my carport looking down the driveway, one by my front door and one by my back door. But that is not enough for me. I’d like one so I can see my garden shed, and one overlooking my vegetable stand. Both of these are not visible from my home so cameras would ensure that I can keep an eye on them no matter if I am home, or at work or wherever.

I also don’t have any inside my home; my wife is not too keen on cameras in the house. There are many good reasons to have one in the house (for example, to watch the pets when you’re not home) but she prefers to keep the cameras outside. I think her “no cameras in the house” outlook might change if I bought the Samsung Family Hub refrigerator with its 3 cameras inside so you can see the food without opening the door, and see what’s missing while shopping. Of course that is a whole different type of camera—extremely cool though!   1. 8 cameras (6 outdoor and 2 indoor) so that I can finally get the stalker of several years off my property, as the police inform me that I need camera footage for this. Once that’s done, I’d love to get back to seeing the wildlife (non-human) around the area.

  2. My minimum would be 3 exterior cameras: one for each entrance to the house. I don’t really have any need for interior cameras.

  10. I think 4 cameras would be perfect for monitoring my home and garage. I could see everything around the house which would make me feel really secure.

  11. I’d like to have 3 cameras around our home. One for the front door and the other two to monitor our two garages. My husband and son have project cars that are very tempting to thieves. More than once we’ve caught people trespassing to get a better look at them.

  46. I would love to have at least 4 cameras around my home..1 to see up my driveway..2 for the back yard (because we have had items stolen out of our backyard and one pointed at the neighbour (because he’s not a nice person and I would love to catch him in the act and hand it over to the police)

  48. This would be a great deterrent for the returning car thief! For my location, I could benefit from 2 or more security cameras. Anything would help!
