Could your home use another security camera? Perhaps you don’t have any yet, so then the answer might definitely be YES! Even if you have a few, could you find a place to put another one? Enter this contest and you might win a fantastic new smart home camera from ezviz. Your home would then be on its way to becoming more secure in minutes.
How many cameras do you want around your home? My answer to this question is probably 6—and I am half-way there. I have one on my carport looking down the driveway, one by my front door and one by my back door. But that is not enough for me. I’d like one so I can see my garden shed, and one overlooking my vegetable stand. Both of these are not visible from my home so cameras would ensure that I can keep an eye on them no matter if I am home, or at work or wherever.
I also don’t have any inside my home; my wife is not too keen on cameras in the house. There are many good reasons to have one in the house (for example, to watch the pets when you’re not home) but she prefers to keep the cameras outside. I think her “no cameras in the house” outlook might change if I bought the Samsung Family Hub refrigerator with its 3 cameras inside so you can see the food without opening the door, and see what’s missing while shopping. Of course that is a whole different type of camera—extremely cool though! (Learn more about this fridge and other smart appliances in the article “10 surprising ways appliance technology has changed to make your life easier“.)

6 is a good number. To monitor the 4 sides of the house and the 2 entrances. I would ask for 7 so I have 2 at the front entrance where most people enter so they can not hide their face. Thank you
I Could Use A minimum Of 4 Security Camera’s to cover all 4 Corners !
I Could Use A minimum Of 4 Security Camera’s to cover all 4 Corners !
Probably 4-8. Need to secure front door, garage door, backyard, as well as alleyway down the side of house 🙂
This would lower my home insurance premiums!
A minimum of five cameras would be needed in my house because we have had some burglars break into some houses in my neighbourhood recently. Two cameras in the front of the house at the front door, two cameras in the back patio and the garage, and one camera for the side of home.
We live in a bungalow style complex, so three cameras would be just right to monitor the comings and goings of unidentified persons who may be looking for an “opportunity” to take advantage of our belongings!

I think 4 would be 5 would be perfect: 2 for the driveway, 2 for the front of the house, and 1 in the back. Total coverage right there.
6 -one for each room in my house plus front and back doors
When one lives next to a drug lab that the police refuse to bust and say that the only way they will is if neighbours have audio and video evidence. Having a security system is, therefore, a must.
How many I would need is at least 5 to guarantee positive results
I would like 5 cameras, 2 for the front yard/driveway, 2 for the back yard and one at the front door.
I would like two on the inside and four on the outside – minimum to cover all entrances and the rear back alley. There has been a bit of a crime wave in my neighbourhood – so cameras would definitely bring some piece of mind.
I’d like to have about 7 cameras to see what’s going on all around inside and outside of my home. 4 outdoors to cover the front, sides and back of my house. 3 indoors to cover the entrance ways and upstairs.
I would like to have at least 4 cameras outside, one facing up the front walkway, one down the driveway, one out the back door and one for the veggie garden. I mostly want them as we’ve got some crazy neighbours that trespass.
I would like to have 4 cameras as a minimum – monitor the front door, back door, driveway, and garden shed. Thanks.
I would like to have 3 cameras outside my home to monitor the front and back and the stairwell, as well as 2-3 inside my home for my dogs and cat – see what they’re doing!
At least 6 Cameras needed, for my front door, back door, back fence line, side yard, car port and drive way.
Security of the home and garage is important. It won’t keep thieves out but with cameras the police would have a better chance of catching them.
We would need a minimum of two cameras. One for each entrance
8 cameras so that I can monitor around my home, gazebo, shed, garage and water front docks —and that would include monitoring my chalet that is located some 100 km away !”
I think 4 cameras would meet our needs and provide coverage for all areas
3 to cover the outside, and another one to cover the first floor.
6 cameras so that I can monitor around my home, garden shed, and watch my pets—and that would be a minimum!”
I would like a minimum of three cameras. One for the front door, one for the back door and another for the driveway since someone tried to steal the tires off my car.
Four (4) cameras….one on each corner of the house. That would cover all angles.
I would need three cameras, one for each entry door to my home.
I would require 6 cameras to help protect my family as there have been break ins in our area lately.
this would come in handy to watch for little thief who has been breaking into my car
Ideally I would have five cameras. One for each of the three door areas, one in the backyard garden area and one to monitor the tree line at the edge of the property. We have small amounts of theft and vandalism, and cameras would be great.
i would like 6 cameras to monitor activity
I would need a minimum of three cameras. One for the front door, another for the driveway & One for the side of my house to see what gets into my recycables and compost bin. We have bears around us and would love to catch one on camera.
I would like 5 cameras to monitor the outside of my house.
I would like 5 cameras outside to monitor the front of my house, the porch, the side, the backyard and the garden shed. Two inside of the house – one in the back mudroom and the other in the entrance.
I would need 6 cameras to keep watch on my place when I’m away
three, one for the front door, one in the side door, and one for the backyard
I would like 8 cameras, front, back and both sides of the house so the outside of my house is properly monitored, along with one for my backyard including some for the inside of the house too, so I can see what is going on in various rooms from the comfort of my home office!
I believe two or three would be good… for front, possibly back and for the interior.
I would like 5 cameras. One facing my house. 3 cameras on my 3 sheds and 1 on my driveway.
I would like 4 cameras. I need to monitor the front, the back of my house and for my garage front and back.
I would need 4 cameras tp monitor my property. People keep stealing my mail and im sure this would he detour that
I think two could work in a pinch — although three would be better!
Up to 4 cameras to monitor entrances to our house.
Three, one for the inside front entrance and two for the outside, front and back.
4 for the entries and sides of the place.
I would like 2 security camera’s, one at the front of the house and one leading to our backyard. Most break ins happen in our area happen from the backyard patio door.
I would simply like a camera by the front door, back door, and shed. The reason why is because there has been an increase in break-ins. I just moved from a house with a security system to one without one.
I would like five cameras-one on each side and one above my entrance
I would like to have 5 cameras minimum. One facing each side of my house and one up the driveway.
I’d love at least 3 cameras for our front door, back door and our driveway. Especially the driveway with people breaking into cars lately.
