Roland FP-10 KeyboardHoliday music is in the air, and many people will be creating their own using a Roland instrument. Roland keyboards and synths are used by professsional, amateur, and beginner musicians around the globe. You probably didn’t even know you could buy them at Best Buy. You can! And someone will win a brand new Roland FP-10 88 Key Weighted Action Digital Piano in this contest—just in time to play Jingle Bells with all in your social bubble, or on a video chat with the whole family singing along, Brady Bunch style!

Christmas music creates lifelong memories

My best holiday memories involve music. When I was a young lad, my mom would be on the piano all the time. She is a very talented keyboardist and piano teacher, so homemade holiday tunes were a non-stop part of my upbringing. As I grew up, my brothers and I played music together almost every day. Most of my holiday memories, therefore, involve playing holiday songs with my family at home, in church, and many other places.

Many people are creating those musical memories using Roland instruments. Even though I play guitar, I still use Roland tech in the form of Boss effects pedals (Boss is a division of Roland). This contest gives you an opportunity to bring Roland into your home just in time for Christmas!

Roland FP-10 Keyboards are more than just a digital piano

Digital pianos have come a long way, and Roland has been at the forefront of their evolution. The FP-10 is a great example of what you can expect from a premium Roland digital instrument. Piano purists might insist on having an acoustic instrument in their home—and that’s fine. However, many people prefer the consistency, versatility, and portability of a digital instrument: especially one like the FP-10 that very closely approximates the feel and tone of an acoustic.

We sent one of these digital pianos to Nikolai for an honest review. Watch his video and read his review to understand why he really liked this instrument.

Are you ready to gather around this piano with your family social bubble (and/or gather virtually on MS Teams or Zoom) for a holiday singalong? Carefully read the rest of this article for your chance to win.

How to enter

Entering this contest is easy, and you can enter once below this article and once below Nikolai’s review of this piano. In a comment, tell us who in your home will get the most use of this piano (first name only) and what holiday song you hope they will play first.

What you can win

At the end of this contest, we will randomly select one winner to receive a new Roland FP-10 88-Key Weighted Action Digital Piano.

This contest runs from Nov 24th until Dec 7th.

Remember, you can only enter once below this article and once below the review article for this piano. However, tell everyone in your family bubble to enter; this will increase your chances of someone you know winning this Roland Keyboard.

  1. I’ll be serenading my wife on christmas morning with this Roland, but I’m sure Shakur will get the most use out of this piano. First song will be Jingle Bell Rock!

  2. Amazing review first of all and the kids will be over the moon if we win so fingers crossed. Our oldest son Genjo will be playing an all time classic, All I want for Christmas is You from Mariah Carey , thank you so much!

  3. Jessica would get the most out of it. We’re a musical household but she’s not had a piano for some time. I’d love go hear her play Carol if the bells.

  4. My daughters, Leilannah and Magalie; 10 years old and 5 years old, respectively. Leilannah will play “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas” and Magalie will play “Frosty the Snow Man”.

  5. My name is Arvin and I was hoping to win this keyboard for me and my brothers. Me and my brothers first saw “A Charlie Brown Christmas” when I was about 6 years old and Azriel, Argie, and Ayden (my brothers) were all younger too. We sort of made it a Christmas tradition to watch this movie every year around Christmas time and me and my brothers thought it would be cool to be able to play “Christmas Time is Here” from the movie with our own keyboard. That would just make it a better experience overall and something different from previous years.

  6. I believe that I (Mariah) would get the most use out of this piano! A piano has been on my Christmas list for years but they have always been so expensive. The first song that I would play would definitely be Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas !

  7. I believe that I (Mariah) would get the most use out of this piano! A piano has been on my Christmas list for years but they have always been so expensive. The first song that I would play would definitely be Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas !

  8. This would be a fantastic gift for my son and daughter. Thanks for putting this contest together, it would be amazing to win!!

  9. Me (Argie) and either of my 3 younger brothers (Azriel, Arvin and Ayden) would have a blast with this piano! The first song we’d love to learn is the “Charlie Brown Christmas Dance” song. Would love to jam to this song during this holiday season 🙂

  10. Le son incroyable avec tous les instruments de la bibliothèque nous permettrait de jouer la musique du « final countdown » avec mon mari Christophe pour les fêtes de noël avec l’arrivee Des vaccins.

  11. My daughter Mariah has had a keyboard on her Christmas list for years. This would be incredible. I love “Baby it’s cold outside” so hopefully she would learn that one first. Happy holidays 🙂

  12. I think this Roland keyboard would be awesome for my son. He’s creative and very musically inclined.
The first thing I’d ask him to play is “Mary, Did You Know” which is his mother’s favorite song.

  13. My wife is learning piano and would love to have an upgrade. She would not play a holiday song, but perhaps “Holiday” by Madonna.

  14. I would love to be able to re-learn piano and hopefully still be able to play Charlie Browns Christmas!

  15. My daughter, Aubrey, would get the most use out of this! Would start with her favourite, twinkle twinkle little star.

  16. Max will use this the most and probably do something more along the lines of a Rock n’ Rill Christmas.

  17. My wife, Carole would be the first to play and the first song would be Jingle Bells! Thanks for the opportunity and Happy Holidays!

  18. My son would love to learn to play this and he would do Christmas songs. Probably jingle bells. Thanks for this chance

  19. I think I (Shay) would benefit most from this piano. Specifically because I haven’t played in a while due to school. This is an easy way of keeping touch with all my old knowledge. The song I would play is most likely “We wish you a Merry Christmas”

  20. I would get the most use. Our 1 and a half year old puppy hates when we play the piano. I was just saying that I need to buy a keyboard so I can play in my room and not hurt her ears.

  21. I think I (Tracy) would get the most use! I want to learn how to play and this is a great chance to do that! I’d love to play I’ll be home for Christmas!

  22. Ariana would probably get the most use of it as she plays me the Happy Birthday song. An artist in the making.
